As you drive in your gas guzzling vehicle, often times you grumble about the greedy oil industry and their tactics to steal money from the average Joe. Well, maybe that is how things go in my head while I drive. No gas prices please me at the moment. Get me a gallon of gas with a 1 leading the way, single digits before a decimal point, and then you will see me happy again. Something about this new place caught my eye. Any time you have a gas station to whereas they are at least 10 cent less than the competitors, you want my business! Look, this is a gas station. You can pay a debit card price, or a little less for a cash transaction per gallon, or a lot less per gallon with a car wash purchase. This is a gas station with a car wash to whereas you are able to get gas cheaper with your gas purchase. You actually get your gas 20 cents less a gallon with that fill up. This is a gas station, with a car wash and a cool ice cream machine. This ice cream machine does infuse flavors in the ice cream mixture, so your ice cream cone comes out looking aesthetically pleasing! Taste is decent as well. There is a huge variety of flavors to choose from. This is a gas station, with a car wash, cool ice cream machine, and a juice bar. You can get smoothies for two dollars any size. I don't really not what that means because I have yet to do that. I saw multiple types of freeze drink options, hot drink options and fountain drink options. They have deals on all those types of drinks. You want iced drinks...they have that latte stuff! You want frappes...that have those to. Their lattes go hot as well. They even have snow cones here. I am from New Orleans, so I run from "snow cones." Either snoballs or nothing! This is a gas station, with a car wash, cool ice cream machine, juice bar and a hot food place that serve taqueria food items, burgers, chicken and pizza. I have not tried anything here, but I see there are various amounts of deals throughout the place. Overall, this place has a lot of stuff for many types of personalities. Their drink freezer goes from Arizona drinks to liquor of various sorts. You will find good deals on drinks, foods and desserts here. It's a gas station folks...with cheaper gas than the surrounding area....and food deals. read more

Do not waste your time or money!!! Got bad watered down gas here and had to take the vehicle to the dealership to get it cleaned out then they shut down the pumps. I am positive quite a few people purchased their bad gas...wth!!! read more

Car wash is a joke. Guy spent 5 minutes scrubbing my windshield and bumper from all the bugs and the car came out just as dirty as when it went in. Windshield and bumper still covered in bug guts. I'm not expecting the kind of service and quality from a full service car wash, but I don't expect the car to look as bad as it did going in. Vacuums were weak and didn't suck up hardly anything from the carpet and seats. Save your money and go anywhere else. read more

Went for a fill up and a car wash in my truck. Pump promises .10 off of gas with purchase of a car wash. After 20 gallons of discounted gas, the pump stops. When I go in to let them know that the pump shut off after 20 gallons they tell me, "The manager says that is because you got the car wash, and that offer is only good for 20 gallons." I then inform the young lady at the counter to tell her manager (Who was hiding in his office) that nowhere is that stated on the pump, that it only says, "get 10 cents off gas with purchase of car wash" and that changing the price after 20 gallons is in effect bait and switch since it doesn't stipulate how much gas and I assumed it applied to my whole fill up. She goes and tells the manager that comes back out and says to start a new cycle on the pump and that "he will pay me my change". Well it is my change, isnt it? I earned it. I don't unfairly want it becoming your change through a deceptive practice. I will take my change and my dollars elsewhere. I advise everyone else do the same. read more

What a great place. It does have it's hiccups though. Like the time it wouldn't read my credit card. The cashier swiped my card after I filled up, but then I told him I wanted a carwash as well and that usually I would pay for that at the pump. He refunded me the dollar amount I would have saved if I had paid at the pump and gotten the carwash. The fact that they would give you back money is not deceptive to me - it's a great place to do business and they value their customers. The carwash is the best though as well as free use of the vacuums. They even have an attendant that will hose down the trucks with caked on dirt so that it's not being blown onto the car behind it. Hands down this is "The King" of all convenient stores! This place has it all! If you need gasoline, your car washed or you're craving coffee, a cappuccino, an icee, pizza, tacos, beer, ice cream shakes, etc this is the place to go. As mentioned, adjacent is a cool car wash that gives you a complimentary vacuum with every paid wash. Oh, they even have a cute little jewelry and perfume section incase you need to purchase your honey a little special something! The service is always excellent as well. read more

Do not use this car wash! The car wash there dented and scratched my car. The manager was rude and refused to give me the owners number. After explaining to him that I just left my house one block away, put my kids in the car (one on each side), and came straight to the car wash. The manager Sam acted like he couldn't understand what I was saying. He proceeded to say that his brushes don't get that close to the cars and they have the best sensors. I told him nothing is 100%. He said no, no, no, and walked off. I went into fuel depot to get more information on the store and nobody was willing to assist me. Sam apparently has no last name & no one knows who the store owner is. I will see these people in court. read more

This place used to be good but must be under new management that doesn't pay attention to customer service. The pumps are routinely out of paper - you have to walk inside and wait in line to get your receipt. And the employees show no care to resolve anything when you bring issues to their attention. read more

I'm not sure what's going on with the owner/management of Fuel Depot on North Fry Road, but of late it's as if they've shifted their goals away from customer service and more towards making their job easier. I have frequented this gas station since their opening a couple years ago, both during daytime and night time hours. The first issue is for me is a big thing. They now only allow you to get $50.00 worth of gasoline per visit. I have a a 25 gal. tank in my truck,, and given that gas is now around $2.60/gal, if I'm on empty, it's going to take more than $50.00 for me to fill up. That leaves me with a partially filled tank and when I attempted a second sale to facilitate filling my tank it resulted in Discover sounding a fraudulent alert on my card and freezing it. My husband had to deal with them via phone call and tell them yes, it was indeed me, trying to get gas and to please unlock my card. My second issue is that they choose to shut down their Texas Lottery system for much longer than the state requires, starting at 11:00pm and reopening it at 6:00am. Yeah, I know that's a trivial thing, but, if that's the time of day I'm out and want to cash in my winning scratch offs I'm out of luck. Although this Fuel Depot is the most convenient, closest station to my home, from now on I will drive the extra mile and give my business to Valero. read more

I had a bad experience with the carwash at this gas station. The brush they use left several scratches all over my car. I talked to the person in charge of carwash about it, but he didn't seem to care. I'll never use a gas station carwash again. read more

Horrible place to get a carwash I used to come to this place all the time to get a carwash. The last two times I've been here have been nothing but a disappointment. The vacuums are a joke they don't work. I ended up coming to another car wash down the street to get my car vacuumed. The workers are ALWAYS on their phones texting or hanging out with their friends instead of working . I have been going here for over 3 months and its the same thing every time I come. I always have to wait for them to help me. I have to hulk my horn because they are never where they need to be to help me load my car. The manager isn't helpful either.
