They have the rice cheese brand which La Favourita and Zizzis use but in three different flavours. I bought some matcha as it was slightly better value than the one I bought for the first time recently in Glasgow. It's a good size with lots of room to move around. We bought a few travel snacks from budget stores in the town, but as I tend to find with health food shops in general, it was ace for picking up a couple of things hard to find elsewhere.

I really want to like this place but have never fully understood how it works!…read moreThe shop itself looks well stocked and the area at the back has food stuffs in bulk (i.e. giant bags of rice, huge packets of toilet rolls). The majority of the produce is organic and healthy. Nothing, however, has a price on it. If you ask they give you a leaflet and you have to match the product with the price. It takes forever, the staff weren't in the slightest bit helpful and I gave up. It was really busy though so I guess if your clever or in the know it is a a great place to shop.

Bare Necessities organic veg appeared on the shelves only recently and have impressed me with the…read morequality of all their stuff. I tried the carrots which were labelled Organic but which is what I go for .. even better, they claim that the veg is completely free of pesticides or any residues which means no nasty chemicals. The farms are in the Highlands of Scotland so presumably that's how they manage to avoid any pollution etc. Anyway, the carrots were crunchy and tasted fresher or more "carrotty" than the usual ones. I made juice with them and its great too - nice and sweet. I know this is a bit of a rave review, but as Bare Necessities carrots were only a little more expensive its deffo worth getting them.
