However, once the work was 3/4 done, they turned around and billed me significantly more than the original quote--claiming it was due to an "error" on their end. Instead of taking responsibility for their own mistake, they passed the cost onto me. To make matters worse, the additional charge was for an additional pallet of grass but they only needed a quarter of that and because they had to return the next day to finish the job , they charged a second installment fee then took the remainder of the pallet for another job which felt completely unprofessional, untrustworthy and dishonest. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. A company that can't honor its own quote or stand behind its work shouldn't be trusted. I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing and considering other options to avoid hiring this company.
