Not to thick, didn't break apart and melted in my mouth while the hot fish burnt my tongue (totally my fault). The chips weren't soggy or too big, they tasted like they were almost double fried. Take your time to check out the specials before you order; my favourite is the grilled pack, consisting of a piece of grilled fish, salad and chips for a bargain $7.00. There are over ten specials in all and they really do offer great value for money. To top it all off the place is owned and run by a gorgeous married couple who have always greeted me with an infectious smile and perfect service.
