For a place as remote as Bloomsburg, I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of sushi at Fuji. I ordered online and the process was seamless. The prices were very reasonable and even more so considering how good the sushi was. The pieces of sashimi were huge! You could tell the fish was fresh and the tuna was very red - much higher quality than the usual sashimi I see. The dragon roll and summer rolls were both carefully made and each piece of sushi was bigger than I'd expect. Overall, great quality sushi and a very wallet friendly price. If you are searching for a sushi craving and don't want to travel to Wilkes-Barre or Williamsport, this is a nice place to try. I am torn between giving it a 3 and a 4 because some things were a 4 and others were a 3. Why a 4? A nice selection of sushi rolls to choose from and other non-sushi options. Easy to order online or via the app. Good flavor and texture combinations offerings. They send you a text message when your order is ready to pick-up. Close and convenient. Why a 3? The sashimi pieces were clearly previously frozen. This is fine, but the quality deteriorated a lot vs. fresh. One piece of tuna I didn't eat because it had a 'fishy' taste to it. You can tell it was previously frozen because of the texture and flavor. Being that Bloomsburg is not close to any major city, this can be expected. However, I've had fantastic sushi in my life, living near Philly and NYC so I am trying not to compare too much. Important Note: Their crab is not real crab meat - it's imitation crab meat. This was disappointing and does change the flavor of the roll and texture. I would definitely give them a try again next time in the area. read more

We stopped here an hour before closing time after a long road trip. We were the only diners inside but we had a wonderful experience. We are salmon lovers so we didn't try any other of the fish options, but the different styles of salmon were all delicious. The server was so nice. The platters that the sushi was served on were all beautiful as well. Would highly recommend. read more

Went here on a Sunday, which I assume most locals wouldn't because of the half priced stuff out at Oliran. I am not saying Oliran isn't good. I enjoy their food, and their staff. They have always treated me kindly. The fact of the matter is that Fuji sushi is just phenomenally good. Their sushi rice is ON POINT. Their cuts of fish are ridiculous and their customer service is VERY memorable. I have eaten so much sushi over the years. Sushi joints at double if not triple the cost of this place and places on par or cheaper. Fuji Sushi ranks high on the list for me with this experience. Sushi rice is everything and is key in my reviews of sushi places. We will be back for more and I suggest you give it a shot as well! read more

Surprisingly for a smaller town, Bloomsburg has several Sushi options. Fuji Sushi opened in space formerly occupied by two failed Quiznos franchisees, and the interior still shares much of the previous design. Restaurant is not large, with somewhat limited seating, but the service is quite fast. During my first visit, I ordered the three (regular) roll lunch. The Philly roll was average with good flavor. The Spicy Salmon and Shrimp rolls were not spicy, and the Shrimp roll's composition was rather different, a little saucy. On a second visit, I had a regular Alaskan roll that lacked flavor. Of their special rolls, I've tried the New York roll, a thick layered roll with a mild mayonnaise flavor. The presentation of the New York roll was quite nice. All of the rolls I've had at Fuji Sushi were very fresh, one of the restaurants strongest points. Overall, after my first visit I wanted to give Fuji another chance. Service is fast, it's fresh, but the sushi here just lacks flavor to me. read more

This used to be my favorite place in town to get sushi, I'm saddened to say that they lost a loyal customer months ago. When I did order from them I always got the dragon roll and philadelphia roll and never had any issues up until the last few times where the sushi was warm and tasted off. The last experience I had with them was the final straw. When they called to deliver the sushi, I didn't hear my phone ringing. Instead of them ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door, I received a nasty phonecall from the wife where she angrily yelled at me, saying I needed to answer my phone. The delivery man had actually left with my sushi and eventually had brought it back. I understand it was my fault I had stepped away from my phone, but there was no need to be so rude! No way to treat a loyal customer that has ordered from them for years, on a monthly basis. read more

Fuji Sushi is a total dive. That is the only bad thing though. The sushi is amazing and very reasonable. We usually get one of the combo platters that comes with 2 special rolls and 6 (I think) regular rolls. Very reasonable prices and amazing flavor. It's a small family-owned place and they are very helpful and friendly. I am a faithful customer and return regularly. Love it here! read more

I choose a time for pick up (online when ordering) and when I arrive to pick up they have a great set up. They have a sort of see through drop box with your food and receipt to sign. This is probably some of the best sushi I have ever eaten! We had just finished unpacking my cousin for college and I needed to get back home quickly. We decided to stop at a conveniently located sushi restaurant. The food and service at this restaurant was excellent!! I ordered the salmon sashimi and sushi and my aunt ordered the summer rolls. Quite little joint but very nice and good service. Fish was very fresh and the sushi rice was made on the spot for our rolls. Specialty rolls were amazing. Had a godzilla roll and the Spider-Man roll. Were so wide they were definitely a 2 bite per piece. The spiderman was great as it was different then most rolls i have tried elseqhere. This is the best small sushi place I've been to in a while. Friendly atmosphere and dedicated staff (of only 3 people at most!). Sometimes it takes a while to get served but I've never seen more than 2 people working at a time and this place is starting to grow in popularity. They're doing their best! Stopped in before movies with the family, the three of us each ordered a different roll and then we all shared. It was really good! Got the Spiderman Roll, Ocean Roll (the ocean roll was wrapped in lettuce and tasted off fresh vegetables) and I can't remember the third roll but it had a light friend shell. All three tolls we're great as well as the service. The atmosphere, table and chairs could be better! Price was about 47 dollars which I consider pretty good!
