    Shrimp Tempura Roll

Very quiet but great service! We ordered house salad, fried pork gyoza, shrimp tempura roll, magic roll and tamago. Everything was delicious! The portions are very generous. We will come back again to try the other rolls.

I didn't expect to see a Japanese restaurant in Scranton. Although it is not run by Japanese, the food quality is exceptionally good. The raw fish is very fresh. The plating is really artistic. Their sushi rolls are unique. I've been to many sushi restaurants, their dynamite roll comes with some sort of mango sauce on top, making it very refreshing. A must try dish.

We were in town for the weekend and decided to try this place close to our hotel. It's a cozy setting; you're more likely to get a table if you come during less busy hours. We ordered gyoza dumplings as an appetizer -- they were pretty good. Our sushi dinner entree came with miso soup and salad, and I ordered a side of seaweed salad. My kid ordered the California roll and I had the spicy combo with tuna, salmon, and imitation crab meat (the combo name I can't remember, Kani perhaps?). Overall, no complaints; everything tasted fresh. My only complaint was that service was very slow and it took a long time for our sushi to arrive, though our apps came out pretty quickly. But, I attribute the slow service to a busy Friday night. If we're in the area again, I would come back.

The food was so good! As a person who has went to Japan various of times, I would say the sushi is very much authentic!! My mom who is fully Japanese also loved the food too and got the bowl with various of fish options and the food portion was HUGE! Definitely worth the price!! The service was pretty good. Only one person was working during that time but she was able to serve efficiently. Although everything was great, the sizing of the area is pretty small and doesn't have a lot of seats which is a bummer because the restaurant seems to be a hit!

Food and service were great! Sushi had plenty of fish (not too much rice). Definitely will be back!

The lights were off in the restaurant so we weren't sure they were open. However they sat us and quickly turned the lights on. After that somewhat trepidatious start, things went uphill. The owner was serving us and was super attentive. We got a variety of rolls, including the Out of Control Roll (chosen for its fun name), Lovers Roll, Sashimi Naruto roll, and Spider Roll, along with Tamago and Fish Roe Sashimi. The sushi was gorgeously plated. The Out of Control Roll was my favorite, great textures and very indulgent. The sauce beneath the lovers roll was super tangy. Overall, a good pick for sushi in Scranton. I'd go back if I was in the area.

She actually rolled her eyes when we asked for wasabi and Ginger prior to ordering our dinner. Food was actually not bad although the soft shell crab in the Spider Roll was on the cheap side but otherwise food was decent but definitely will not be back. I don't typically like to leave bad reviews for small businesses because I like to see them Thrive but if you don't like waiting on people, then don't own a restaurant!!

Lunch was a little pricy ($54 with tip, no drinks) but totally worth it. Hibachi NY strip for me and sushi special for the wife were completely satisfying and filling. Of course, service was prompt and courteous and the decor was pretty standard for a sushi and hibachi restaurant. Highly recommend this Scranton landmark and legend.

It came with the traditional Japanese soup, salad, rice, noodles, and vegetables, and of course it came with the chicken. The portion was big. It was $24. The chicken was a little dry. The noodles, rice, and vegetables lacked flavor. Luckily it came with two dipping sauces. One tasted like a teriyaki sauce, the other I thought was a Yum Yum sauce but it did not taste like a Yum Yum sauce, it tasted like a mustard and soy sauce, it was delicious, so I poured that over my meal. The service was very friendly, although he messed up a bit on the order. We both ordered the same thing: we both ordered no mushrooms, one order came with mushrooms, we asked for no salad, one came with a salad and we asked for no shrimp and one came with the shrimp

One could spend hours looking at the incredible shadowboxes, model trains, war memorabilia, movie displays, model ships, etc, not to mention the Dunder Mifflin gift shop! The food, however, is another story. The menu is large and varied and has some delicious appetizers (particularly the Bang Bang Srimp and the Crab Balls--addictive) and entrees too, but the very pricey stars of the menu leave much to be desired. The "Just Seafood" entree looks mouthwatering by description and costs forty effing dollars, but I'm being completely honest when I tell you everything on that plate was drier than a popcorn fart. The dish comes with shrimp, scallops, and lump crab meat. The best thing on the plate was the THREE scallops they provided. The crab was genuinely the worst, driest crab I've ever had. Worse than low-quality frozen snow crab at Red Lobster or the grocery store. The shrimp was overcooked and pathetically seasoned with a light sprinkle of paprika (which fell mostly on one shrimp and none of the others). I had to salt my own food at the table because everything was flavorless. All in all, if you're in Scranton because you like The Office, stop here and have some CHEAP starters and drinks, grab some cool Dunder Mifflin merchandise at the gift shop, and enjoy all the awesome art they have at Coopers. Pay no mind to their expensive seafood, it sucks. Service: the waitstaff are lovely, friendly and attentive. They're great and deserve praise!

They specialize in farm to table and healthy food. Our plans before were running long but luckily their reservation policies were flexible enough that I had no problem moving my time, even on such a busy day. The restaurant was POPPING when we arrived around 4:30. We were seated promptly. The only downside to our experience was that the table was SUPER shaky and wobbly. We asked our waitress for a shim or piece of paper to steady the table but she informed us it was the table head itself, not the legs, so nothing could be done. I was not thrilled about this but assumed that these were tables they hauled out of storage to accommodate the holiday demand, so I can understand. Our server was very warm and friendly despite the chaos. Prices are on the high side but the quality is good and the portions are large. I went for the lobster cobb which was a special and it was LOADED with lobster meat. They really heaped it on. A little light on the avocado, but overall it was really wonderful. My mother went for a seafood scallop risotto which I also tried. It was creamy and flavorful. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe, and our server was good about getting our check. One thing I really liked was that they put which dishes on the menu are over 500 calories, and most were under. A lovely, healthy dining choice with a nice ambiance. I'd return!
