I have been out of the exercise game for about four years. I do not like regular gyms. I love this place. The minute you walk in the door you feel welcome and comfortable. The small class sizes are perfect. The instructors are wonderful. Everyone in these classes are friendly !! I have signed for the next level fit camp from the beginner boot camp. If you are just starting or starting over this is the place to be. This also a place for people who enjoy happy classes and friendly staff. I am so glad I found this place. I started here a month ago for their beginner boot camp. I had not exercised in years. This was the perfect opportunity to begin again. Everyone in the class was in the same boat - friendly, supportive, fun - we all worked together and we tested our fitness levels at the beginning and then at the end of the 4 weeks - everyone in the class, from age 17 to almost 70 made great strides - the amount of energy, stamina, and ability is amazing. Loved how they taught proper form, how to use various pieces of equipment such as suspension bands, exercise balls, kettle bells, battle ropes and more. The trainers are friendly, energetic, challenging and motivating. I am already seeing results and cannot wait to move to the next level for the next 6 months going 3x per week. It is really a great place - my only regret is not starting sooner. Believe me, if I LOVE going to my classes and want exercise and good nutrition to be a part of my life - ANYBODY can do this. If you are at a higher level, they offer classes for you, too. You only compete with yourself. This is not a gym - no boring treadmills - the small class sizes and ability to have one on one training as well is amazing. They also offer drop in capabilities (pay by the class if you want to try it out) as well as contracts. Massage, yoga, and even belly dancing are available! FCFNY was formed by 2 certified personal trainers with many years experience. Because we own the business we ensure that all of our clients get personal attention whether they work with us 1 on 1 or in our small group classes

Meet the Business Owner: Dan R.

I am an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in working with the morbidly obese. I have over 30 years of experience in the gym. I am also former "fatty" who weighed in excess of 350 pounds. About 10 years ago I lost over 100 pounds and have kept it off. I understand the trials and tribulations with trying to lose weight and keeping it off. I also know there is no magic pill, shake or formula that will make you lose weight. My philosophy is to help my clients get fit through proper diet and exercise. I also believe that exercising should be fun and strive to have everyone leave my sessions with a smile on their face. I want people to think of the hour with me as the best part of their day. In addition to being a personal trainer I am also a competitive athlete competing across the county in rowing (crew) with the Saratoga Rowing Association. I also am a volunteer mentor/trainer for the Freihofer's Run for Women Training Challenge.

So I attempted to give my notice right away they said " no that's not how it works. This is a business " so basically you have to pay for another 28 days. Also don't try and buy this as a gift for a friend or family member. They claim they need to person who is receiving the gift needs to provide all of their credit card info - basically so they will be locked into a billing cycle. They were claiming is was for the waiver reasons- when I said he will sign the waivers but is not gonna give you his credit card info - I reiterated this is a one time gift for the 28 day program you advertise- so as far as fitness - I can't judge. As far as business- read the fine print and be ready to pay. Also they should state can't be bought as a gift. Must be purchased by participant. Corey you explained it much better here than on the phone. My only question is about the 28 day advance requirement for cancellation. You said within 21 days to cancel but if you don't you're locked in automatically to the next 28 days correct?

It was a very fun and accepting environment and the instructor was very nice. For a first class, it was pretty easy to get comfortable with the bungee. It's a challenge for your core to hold yourself up but your stomach in some moves, but it's honestly really fun so you barely notice. It's a little more expensive than some other fitness classes, but really cool to do once in a while to change it up. Check it out!

It's taken me a while to enjoy the full benefits of this gym which is very large. Now the I'm retired and covered under CDPHP, my gym membership is free. I finally started taking pool classes. I've even stayed behind after classes to use the Lazy River which is awesome. It's a steady current which works just like those in the water parks. Well, the Lazy River is currently under repair until further notice but the huge waterslide is working. I decided to give that a try the other day. It appears to be a couple of stories high with steady water jets blasting you through the ride. For the center to open the slide there needs to be four lifeguards on duty as a safety precaution. I spoke to some of the lifeguards before taking the plunge. They advised me to lean forward to slow down and lean back to speed up. I did a combination. When I splashed down, they were very nice to check on me. I got two turns on the slide before the lifeguards had to go to lunch and the slide was closed until they returned. The Ciccotti Center has great features but some like the slide and Lazy River are expensive to maintain. They're so fun. It's certainly a stand out workout facility.

When asking about any issue, you're told to speak to management. Where are they? Not in their office or helping their staff. They're in the gym working out with headphones in. Avoiding work, avoiding staff requests, avoiding customer relations. And if you do manage to get the chance of an interaction, they are rude & dismissive. This facility could be nice, but it's being run into the dirt. You're better off looking elsewhere.

If you run into a true Saratogian who grew up here, they will likely be able to tell you all about the features found in the park. If you're interested in staying directly in the park, the Gideon Putnam Resort and Spa is inside of the park to stay at! You can get a fantastic meal at the restaurant, enjoy the Victorian pool or even get spa treatments at the Roosevelt Baths. The golf course is also a great course at a reasonable price. The state park is also the home of a small production play theatre (directly behind SPAC). There is a famous amphitheater that you can always catch Dave Matthews at in the summer (Saratoga performing arts Center). If you're interested in natural healings, there are multiple springs (including one that tastes like normal water) that residents and visitors alike bring jugs to get fresh water at. The walking trails are wonderful and in some areas, there are mini waterfalls as well. In the winter, this park is great for cross country skiing. If you enter into the park and pay the entry fee, you can go to the Peerless pool which is gigantic! Quite a few pavilions you can also rent for reunions or large parties. One thing is for sure, there's usually somewhere for every type of person.

Unfortunately the Charlie spring near the SPAC entrance wasn't flowing as of mid-December. The pine trees get five stars. I wish there were bathrooms available but that could be a seasonal thing. The park is technically reachable by bus but you might have to a wait a bit.

I signed up for the June class...... The minute walked in, it felt right. It felt like I finally found a place to belong. I won't lie.... it was tough.... it was hard.... you will sweat..... but it feels great! Full Circle Fitness teaches you the right way to workout even if you have issues, they will modify the workout for you. These trainers really care, they don't just take your Money and forget about you..... they check in, they ask about your day, they really love what they do and it reflects on us feeling great when we are there working out with them. I started beginner bootcamp in July 2017 after being out of a regular exercise routine for over a year. The staff were AMAZING and I felt completely at home within the first 2 sessions. I signed up for their unlimited class plan after the 4 week bootcamp and participate in all their offered classes....fit camp, suspension training, boxing, yoga, barre, and core express. The trainers are soooo motivating and met me right where I was and moved me forward. Not only are the trainers amazing, but the small group training is just perfect for anyone who needs "a family/friend support group". Everyone is encouraging!! This place is exactly what you need if you aren't the "Gym type". I enjoyed coming in as a beginner and the trainers working with me to develop better technique and understanding of the workouts. This is the best! You will be so happy you discovered Full a Circle Fitness. The trainers and members are caring and you feel like family. The group exercises keep you motivated.
