That has not been the case since I started going to CRL, its addicting. The coaches and people are amazing. Everyone is super welcoming and no matter if you are in great shape or just starting out the workouts are manageable/challenging, its really all about how much YOU want to push yourself. Along with crossfit they also offer spartan, olympic weightlifting, and mobility classes which are just as awesome. The coaches are all very knowledgable and want to help you be the best you can be. Confirmed with the staff there at the time that my card would not be charged until I signed the contract. I was still charged, despite not signing the contract and now have been charged for another month. I was told that I need to come in person to cancel so I went in person during their open times as listed on the door and they were closed. Do not use them, they are just looking to make a quick buck off of you!

Most of the equipment and machines are a bit dated, but certainly get the job done. The staff and gym goers were always pleasant. Worth noting that it wasn't usually overly busy, so I rarely found myself waiting for a bench or machine. Membership prices are comparable to the Y, and they offer a wide variety of classes and trainers if that's your thing.
