The owner is super friendly and the coaches are all great and knowledgeable! Classes are fun, the people are nice, and the programming is great! This gym offers something for all skill levels! The environment is super supportive too. You leave having done more than "just" work out... you leave having bonded with other great people, pushing yourself or your friends to do things you never thought you could do, and wanting to do more! About the space - the Crossfit gym is in the back by the garage doors. The space is large with a strip of turf down the center. There are tons of pull up bars and squat racks because there are 2 large rigs. Tons of ropes and ring muscle up spots. Plenty of wall space for HSPU stations or wall balls. They have 2 peg board stations, ski ergs, rowers, and AABs. They have rogue barbells and bumpers, a nice mobility area, and is attached to movement. I'm not entirely sure how the dual membership works for movement and weld but movement has an indoor track which we sometimes can run on for the crossfit classes, and tons of other great equipment I will write up in a separate review for Movement. Anyway, this is one of the better crossfit gyms I've been to (and I've been to a lot). Highly recommend it!!

The address for this listing is for the Marietta Unit, which was the closest official address I could find. I'm still not totally sure where the trailhead was (obviously, I was not the one who drove up), but the trail we took was the "Scenic River Trail." There wasn't much of a view due to all of the trees still being leafy, but it was a good challenging hike. We actually did not make it to the end of the trail, and I'm not really sure how far we went since the trail did not seem to have mile markers. There were the yellow diamond trail markers and some posts in the ground, but neither were labeled. It would be lovely to take the trail again when the leaves start to change, and again when the leaves are down and you can actually see the "Scenic River."

The greens seems to have suffered some major disease and moss growth. The greens are coming back but slowly and still show the past issues. The bunkers are terrible but I think most of that was weather related but there is no to little sand in them. I have always loved the design of this course as it is one, if not the best in the area. I hope they get everything worked out and this course condition comes back. Fairways are getting much better overall!

(Other parties not just mine) We reserved 2 lanes #45-46 for my blowout bowling comeback. There was about 14 of us total. For $90 we got both lanes for 2 hours of Cosmic Light Bowling (black lights, disco balls and loud 80s Rock) Kids loved it. We had a 4 yr old, 6 yr old and 9 yr old who told me it was the best birthday party EVER!!! That $90 also included the shoe rental for all my guest, 2 large pizzas one pepperoni and the other plain cheese with 2 pitchers of soda. We brought in our own cupcakes. We had a great time and we are planning another bowling trip in mid February. Highly recommend. Lots of fun, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The bar in the bowling alley offers full bar menu. First off, it's huge! Plenty of lanes. You can get discounted prices if you come in early in the day. They have cosmo bowling, which is a whole lot of fun! They've got a great snack selection at the concession like pizza, chips, sodas, beer and candy. Now I live in Virginia, but even made it a point to stop and play a few games with family when I was in town. Great bowling alley!
