The owner is super friendly and the coaches are all great and knowledgeable! Classes are fun, the people are nice, and the programming is great! This gym offers something for all skill levels! The environment is super supportive too. You leave having done more than "just" work out... you leave having bonded with other great people, pushing yourself or your friends to do things you never thought you could do, and wanting to do more! About the space - the Crossfit gym is in the back by the garage doors. The space is large with a strip of turf down the center. There are tons of pull up bars and squat racks because there are 2 large rigs. Tons of ropes and ring muscle up spots. Plenty of wall space for HSPU stations or wall balls. They have 2 peg board stations, ski ergs, rowers, and AABs. They have rogue barbells and bumpers, a nice mobility area, and is attached to movement. I'm not entirely sure how the dual membership works for movement and weld but movement has an indoor track which we sometimes can run on for the crossfit classes, and tons of other great equipment I will write up in a separate review for Movement. Anyway, this is one of the better crossfit gyms I've been to (and I've been to a lot). Highly recommend it!!

It makes doing the workouts fun with everyone encouraging each other on. It doesn't matter what fitness level you are at each movement can be modified to your ability. There isn't any ego lifting here and people are happy to scale things back to get the correct and safe stimulus. It's a beautiful gym and has lots of space to go around. Been going to CrossFit WV for about a year and absolutely love their approach to fitness. Typical…read moreof CrossFit gyms (or boxes in their lingo), the coach led workouts feature a great variety of Olympic type lifts (dead lifts, clean & jerks, squats...), body weight movements (pull ups, push ups, ring dips...) and locomotion (running, box jumps, rowing...). A usual work out consists of 5 - 10 minutes of warm up, a review of techniques to be used, then a high intensity workout lasting between 10 and 20 minutes. Several coaches are on hand to offer assistance with technique and encouragement. The primary coaches (Caroline & Drew) do a great job of teaching the fundamentals to get the most out of the exercises and, most importantly, keep safe. There are numerous other trained coaches who help out during peak times. There's good diversity in the membership's ages and abilities, but surprisingly little "attitude". You can push yourself as much as you want. You can have friendly competition with others or just work on personal bests. The box is definitely not a glossy, chromed & mirrored gym, but for those looking to get in shape for sports or just general life, it hard for me to imagine a better option.
