Mind you, this is for two plates of scrambled eggs, toast and home fries. This was the attitude directly from the owner to the waitress. The owner could have cared less. The worst treatment I've ever experienced from a breakfast joint. I'll never go again and would advise people to not go as well. 0 out of 10 rating. The waitress was apologetic and frankly embarrassed by the owner's attitude.

You order at the counter and then they have a spot further down where they'll call out your name for both food and drinks. They had a section on the menu called the MET Artistic Lattes which was their version of specialty flavored lattes. This caught our eyes. My wife went with the Falcon Pride (chocolate & white chocolate latte) and I went with the Vanilla Bean Dream (white chocolate & vanilla). Drink wise they were both pretty good! Didn't become a new favorite coffee spot but good enough we would return if we found ourselves in the area looking for coffee again. To have a real strong opinion I would need to return and try some of the food rather than just the coffee.

They also have a bathroom (if you've been on the road awhile this is always a great find). The prices were really good. Huge pumpkins for $6 (wish we'd bought one) and we got a bunch of items including cucumbers, the sandwich and chips for under $20. The woman working there was super nice. She even gave us some lemon grass to dry and use in a tea. I wish this were closer to home as their meat selection looked fantastic but we couldn't buy meat mid-way through a vacation hours from home. Definitely next time though!

I also also love their breakfast sandwich options. They have a cooler of beverages. My favorite is Fresca. A soda I never have at home and I soda I always buy when I can at a deli. Pairs perfectly. Don't sleep on the sweets for sale by the register. The cookies and whoopie pies are usally tasty. The staff seems consistent - hardworking, customer service oriented and nice to interact with. They keep the simple dining area as clean as they are able - during the lunch hours during the week - this place is always packed!!! Pizza slices were honestly way better than I thought they were gonna be. I'm not really a pizza person but the slices made for a nice snack & were pretty big slices. They have packets of sauces and seasoning right under the counter + ice cream to the right of the entrance. Overall, not too shabby! Would be back to try some of their ice cream in the summer.
