They also have pizzas with more toppings, only if you're getting a whole pie though. Only cheese & pepperoni for single slices available. Pizza slices were honestly way better than I thought they were gonna be. I'm not really a pizza person but the slices made for a nice snack & were pretty big slices. They have packets of sauces and seasoning right under the counter + ice cream to the right of the entrance. Overall, not too shabby! Was in the area enjoying the nice day. Wanted to check out the NF outlet and LLBean. Got hungry and found derosier's on the block. Came in for a quick bite grabbed two slices. There were plenty of families coming up to the outdoor window to grab ice cream cones as well. The slices came out hot, the miss who made our slices up was very nice. They have all the packets of condiments right under the counter facing patrons. The dough was a nice crisp crunch and chew was good! I actually ate the crust on this one. Cooked well, cheese pull was good and the toppings didn't all slide off the slice! Would eat here again. About $10 bucks for 2 slices! read more

Derosier's is Freeport's oldest and family owned business. Spanning five generations, Derosier's has been feeding Freeport since 1904. Philip, the current owner, is the great-great-grandson of the store's founder, Augustus Derosier. While my family and I were out shopping, I bumped into to Derosier's Pizza. Every state I visit, I try their pizza. The restaurant is full of memorabilia of pictures of when the establishment opened and pictures of family members. Derosier's also has a variety of ice cream flavors if you're in the mood for Ice Cream. As we walked in, we were greeted and we placed are order for pizza. I ordered a slice of pizza which was huge. The pizza was very good. It had a crunchy crust, the sauce tasted homemade and flavorful, and it wasn't too greasy. I've been enjoying DeRosier's Italian sandwiches for nearly 50 years, and this was the first time I've left disappointed. We ordered two identical Italians, and both had to be remade because they were missing key ingredients. While the staff was friendly and happy to correct them, the replacements still didn't measure up. They lacked the generous fillings and balanced flavor that made DeRosier's Italian sandwiches a longtime favorite. Omg...you guys just made my hot sub dreams come true! Visiting from NC and no one does subs like New England so we picked this place for lunch in Freeport. I got the veggie toasty and my husband for the chicken parm. The toasty was SOOOO good and loaded up properly with pickles- my fave. It's very close to LLBean in Freeport so a good place to eat while visiting LLBean. Pizza slice- a plain cheese--was very tasty; seemed to me a more Greek style pizza which I do love. The crust was between thick and thin and sauce was good. Meatball Parm was ok-no Parm at all detected and bread was like a large hot dog roll. Tastes very similar to a Subway meatball sub. A family favorite! I grew up in Maine and moved away. Every time I come to visit this is our first stop after the airport. It seems like this place is also a connivence store that sells chips, energy drinks, and lottery tickets. As mentioned, they have an interesting selection of ice cream that is bought from a window located street side. Intresting little place, and the girls working were all nice and quick with the orders. Not really anywhere to sit except a few stools inside and the 4 outside tables provided. Place has been around since 1904 and I could see why. This is a pizza place run by teenagers for their friends. We waited the better part of 30 minutes for one pizza, while the young woman behind the counter complained about her work schedule. Ambiance? Not your typical deli as it is located inside a convenient store but holy cow these are some delicous Sandwhiches. They also have pizza and other things. We walked up and ordered at the counter. There was only one girl working but she was kind enough to inform us that the wait would be awhile which was entirely worth it. We all ordered Phillys, grabbed a bag chips and a beverage from the cooler. This was one of the largest, tastiest philly cheese steaks I've ever had. We loaded ours with onions and peppers. The best part about our visit was that they offer gluten free buns and dairy free cheese so my boyfriend was able to indulge in his first philly since he found out about his allergies. First of all, how can you not give an establishment a try when they have been in business since 1904 and STILL are family owned. Due to Covid, we could not enter but they had a table set up in the entry way for orders. Friendly service with that neighborhood feel. I ordered the roast beef toasty and my daughter had the steak sandwhich. The bread was warm and soft. My roast beef seemed freshly sliced and the perfect medium rare. They have a blend of seasoning that makes this sandwhich stand out from the rest. A few slices of pepperoni was placed on top. You can order half or full subs. The steak sub was bursting with flavor.
