Medford Pet Supplies - Healthy feeder roaches

( April 2026 ) Previously Id just come for dog food and hit petsmart for my lizard stuff since the…read morereptile section wasn't great, BUTTTTTT I went in today and I was greeted by a whole new area of reptile stuff and reptiles themselves! The woman behind the counter was so sweet, brought me over and showed me all the new stuff they got in. Informed me that they now sell crickets and will be selling Dubia roaches too!! I knew they had mealworms but my beardie has diet restrictions and cant digest wormies so im pumped about the new diversity. Im so excited, this place is 2 minutes from me and I wont have to travel to unreliable petsmart anymore. Enclosures with critters they sell inside looked decent, I'll definitely be visiting often to see how things are going with that. Anyways I grabbed some flower food topper for my dude and gave it to him as a small treat. he loves it. ( May 2026 ) Stopped back in for some Dubia roaches tonight! I have been doing my research and Medford Pet Supplies has the best feeder roach prices around! 50 LG roaches for $27.99 is a great deal! They are well fed; The gentleman who is always working behind the counter makes his own food mixture for them with fruits and veggies so they are properly gut loaded!! He also never lets me leave before checking that all bugs are alive and well! So appreciated. The critters that they have started to sell look happy and healthy. Great place, great vibes, even better people working there. My Family and I will be forever customers.

YOU CANNOT KEEP CHAMELEONS IN A TANK WITH NO LID…read more You cannot cohab leopard geckos (or leos with fat tails) You cannot cohab guinea pigs with rabbits You cannot leave crusted dried poop on the walls of your tanks You cannot keep monitors healthy in enclosures that aren't even kept to TEMPERATURE Do I need to continue? For those that don't know, Leopard geckos and african fat tails store nutrients in their tails - my pic is an african fat tail who's tail is not fat. Why is that, you may ask? Because he is horribly malnourished. And why does he have stuck shed? Because the humidity in his tank is not up to the proper levels for correct care of the species. This place needs to be shut down. The treatment of the animals inside is absolutely horrifying. Not even the most basic of care is being done here. Pacman frog on dried out substrate. Chameleon with no mist/fog type system (or even a drip system which they need to, you know, DRINK). This place is an utter disgrace and the owner should be ashamed of himself. I came in here because I couldn't believe what people were telling me and, remarkably, it is ALL true. Every bit of it.
