Many of the items are more on the high-end side, more stylistically distinctive and somewhat pricier than the inventories of most antique shops. The proprietor packs quite a lot of pieces into a single level of the house that houses the shop, and you'd be wise not to bring small or unruly children, as there's lots of glass and so many curiosities that it would be a challenge for ever Super Nanny to control tiny, grabby hands. It might also be a good idea to call ahead for hours of operation. We drove by a couple of times, only to see that it was closed. On one Saturday morning, racks of vintage clothing had been placed out on the porch, leading us to believe that the store was open for business, so we drove on into the driveway and to the parking lot in the rear, prompting the owner to ask if he could help us. It wasn't open, though it sort of looked it, and we were told that they weren't open until 11 a.m. When we returned, there was a sign that said they wouldn't be open on an upcoming Saturday. All good, of course, but it would behoove you to call ahead.
