    All The Yummy Cheese Spreads
    Carla S.

My taste buds, hips, butt, waistline, and I have all have had the distinct pleasure of being introduced to Full Quiver Farms Cheese Spreads. The flavors Strawberry - Lovely Blueberry - Makes All the Pain Go Away Chive - Yummers Garlic Basil - My First Love as It Was the 1st Spread I Tried (you never forget your first) Spinach Feta - It's Like the Gods Have Smiled on You Jalapeno - Spicy Awesomeness I have learned to cut pieces of bread into smaller pieces because I can never decide on a single flavor. It's really sad, scary, and awesome all at the same time. I just now have tried their Mild Cheddar which is just a regular cheese, but it is anything but regular. It's magnificent. Greenling is responsible for our introduction, and I shall never forget. I think you can also find their products at Sunset Farms and Hot Yelper # 1 Jessica S. has sampled their AWESOME wares at a farmer's market. I don't know which one. So if you see, Full Quiver Farms do yourself a favor and buy it.

The store feels like walking into a family reunion with all the homemade goods that grandma brings and wine with relatives. Overall, the store felt warm. Cooper Farms had samples of their fruit wine, jams, and salsa out for those who were intrigued by the interesting flavors, like the peach salsa. My friend tried out the white peach wine and said the wine went down smoothly and had a delicious taste that could be dangerous if you are not counting how many glasses you are having. We ended up buying 3 bottles of wine ($22 but buy 2 or more get them for $20 each), a peach ice cream, and a peach milkshake for the road. Cooper Farms had stands of baked goods like pumpkin pie, pecan pie, peach cobbler, and so much more. The store opens up to multiple tables of snacks when you walk in and a jam/ salsa wall on your right. Food Review: Peach Ice Cream (5/5) I would recommend this to anyone who walks through the doors. I was expecting a sorbet peach but was surprised to taste cinnamon and a nutty flavor in my ice cream. The small portion was enough to keep me full for the rest of our roadtrip back to Houston. Peach Milkshake (5/5) The peach milkshake are for the drivers who can't active scoop and eat ice cream. The milkshake was just a blended version of the ice cream. It was a perfect to-go drink if you wanted to try their ice cream but need to focus on the road. Overall, I would love to come back here with family and have them try the ice cream. Next time, I would like to try out their baked goods. 10/10 would recommend!

Ham Orchards is a peach farm, market, BBQ joint, and MUST VISIT destination in North Texas. It's…read morebeen over a decade since my original visit, and a fun road trip with friends on a beautiful weekend in May resulted in an experience that made me question why it took over 10 years to return. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Pro Tip #1 - try to get there before 11:30 AM and plan your visit in May. Ham Orchards gets really busy at noon, and Texas gets really hot in June. There's plenty of parking (dirt lot), tons of people (and families), and you'll hear a musician or two playing on the guitar. 1 Star. Service - The staff is super nice. There's a market with dedicated peach soft serve lines as well as a separate building for BBQ. The two are separate, so you don't have to eat the BBQ at Ham Orchards if you only want to shop at the market. Upon entering the market, a very friendly and helpful staff member will help answer questions and guide you. 1 Star. Food - Ham Orchards is a peach farm, so I recommend you order anything that is peach infused. I went with the Peach Pulled Pork. The pork was very tender, the buns were lightly toasted, and the Peach Pulled Pork was sweet and tender. But the star of this trip was the Peach Infused Pickles. Wow, this condiment turned my "meh" potato salad into a peach infused bite that was peach sweet, pickle tart, and potato creamy. I also bought a full-sized Peach Pie from the market home. It was very good (and perfect for my Instagram feed). Pro Tip #2 - if you want to buy a pie, purchase it from the market before you eat lunch, otherwise they may be sold out. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Next time, I won't let 11 years pass between my visit to Ham Orchards. The road trip was super fun, the BBQ was tasty, and the pie I took home was a great reminder that some of the best destinations are a short road trip outside of Dallas. 1 Star

One of the weekends each month they do food products only, and the other Saturday it's kind of an open fair thing where anyone can go so you'll get people who make all sorts of things. We're particularly partial to the local meats from Windy Hill because they are always delicious. This lady from Waggin' Tail treats comes there a lot too and she makes the best dog treats ever. Also there's a company that brings fresh pasta called Lucido's Produce & Herbs which is phenomenal. They even have frozen ravioli in all kinds of flavors which are omgtodiefor. The vendors either take cash or check. You can get cash from inside the gas station, the cashier will do it for you for a $2 charge (like an ATM). It's in the parking lot of the Green Spot Market & Fuels, which also has probably the best taco place in Dallas (Good 2 Go Taco). Awesome! Overall, I absolutely love this part of my community and I'm going to miss it terribly when I move next year. Super cute local market in Lakewood!…read more I think the term "farmers market" is a misnomer since there was only an itty bitty selection of produce and fresh foods. What they do offer is lots of local products like baked goods, soaps, salsas and unique crafts. I love supporting small, local businesses so this market is right up my alley. I copped some yummy French macaroons and a spicy marinade that I can't wait to try with some fish for dinner. It's small and the location changes every other week so be sure to check their website before you head out. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area but I would not make a special trip or anything.

I think my sister in law was trying to cheer me up by bringing me to the Frisco Farmers Market this morning, but I left feeling even more sad. I'm really not used to having to drive to get to a farmers market and this was a completely different experience. There weren't very many stalls or similar items to mine back home. I'm used to countless tents with fresh flowers, fresh fish, meats, produce, nuts, soups, honey, dates, sprouts, etc. All of the vendors have TONS of fresh samples cut up. There are swarms of people everywhere. I typically leave farmers market not requiring breakfast because I've had so many fresh samples and I walk home with lovely treats and bouquets of flowers wrapped in newspaper. We also have tons of ready made food options, bakers, and endless vendors. This was all together different and extremely underwhelming. I even caught myself missing our regular paparazzi guys, who used to get on my nerves a little. It was odd walking around not seeing anyone stalking the farmers market guests for shots to sell. No A list actors, actresses, athletes, TV execs... It's all together unusual. I purchased a coffee and a couple vegan items from a vendor who said it was his very first day. I don't have any plans on returning to this farmers market even if I bore to death here, but would definitely recommend if you live walking distance as there were a couple options for fresh juices, a lemonade stand that looked tasty, a hand pie lady (with tiny samples, but enough to know she makes a great dough for them) and a few coffee options - which all together could make for a nice visit, just totally not worth driving here for.
