Another towing company towed my disabled to their yard & were supposed to take it to the mechanic the next day. They dropped the ball on that the next day. It sat in the yard & there was confusion over what to do with it. At first they told me it was picked up. Then they overcharged me. I asked for a quote on getting it 12 miles to my mechanic & they quoted me an additional $300 charge. Unbelievable. I did get a partial refund but they are sending me a check. Heh. So I called Full Speed to pick it up from this rival towing company & the quote was nearly half of the other company. I had to deal with them a few hours on the phone & with emails. I dealt with Lenny who I think is the boss. He had to pick it up the next morning but was right on time. His guy met me at the mechanic at the specified time, which is amazing. The driver was friendly & professional. After a nightmare experience with another company, Lenny & Full Speed was a night & day difference. They quoted me a fair price, were on time, friendly & professional. If your car is disabled or need towing or some other service call Full Speed. I was impressed with their friendliness, reliability, pricing & professionalism. Look, most towing guys have a hard job & the overhead is expensive but is it too hard to ask for some fair pricing & no price gouging plus some reliability? My Goodness. Where do I start! Stranded on Halloween night with AAA saying there was no tech in my area (for 3 hours in Valley stream on the border of Queens. How is that even possible!?) and another business trying to scam me FULL SPEED TOWING came to my rescue. I wished I called them as soon as it happened and didn't waist 5 hours! So dependable, reliable and professional. Their Tech attached my van in about 20 seconds and was very informative about the payment process. I paid with my card and got a receipt on the spot. Do not get scammed by someone telling you to zelle them a deposit. In about 35 min I got a call saying my car was delivered to the location I requested. Honestly.
