Wow this park is huge! Way bigger than I expected. Several locals walk their dog here while enjoying a nice stroll. I think my favorite part about this park is the tall redwood trees and the rose garden. Such a nice touch. The playground itself is nice. There's one for toddlers and another for older kids. The one for big kids was slightly dirty and run down. It also had a lot of spider webs. I also wish the playground had an enclosed gate but there are two huge openings. There's a lot of picnic tables, bbq pits, a bathroom and trash cans around. Plenty of shade for those hot summer days and parking in the residential neighborhood as well. I think they can do a better job at keeping the area clean -- that' was my biggest ick. read more

Complete with a massive playground area, Fuller Park is excellent. Lots of parking, lots of shade trees, several picnic tables about. I love that the playground is surrounded by a low fence with limited access which makes it harder for little ones to wander off or for strangers to approach. I had an enjoyable visit at this block-sized park. Plenty of space to move around and not have to rub shoulders with others. Street parking is available along the perimeter. This place would've been awesome even w/o the icecream cart! The structures are current enough to be clean "looking" and I'm glad they're usable. These days, some playgrounds have structures that act more like art sculptures making you wish we went back to the wood stuff from the '80's that kids can actually interact with. The safest bathroom design I've seen yet and I've been reviewing nearing two dozen playgrounds the past few months all over the Bay Area. Bathrooms are available and this is the first time I've seen a community set of sinks outside the restroom. Another safety feature is that each stall is separated with a door leading directly to the outside. That means you get privacy where you need it and not where you don't want it. No worries about any unwanted occurrences that may otherwise be possible outside the stall but inside an enclosed building. Here, everything is open except when you're doing your business. I've been reviewing playgrounds during Covid and can say this playground design layout works well. Island style. The play structures are surrounded by a single gate with two designated entrances/exits so you know who's coming in and out. The perimeter is further surrounded by a grass field deep enough away from the street to prevent unintended access and the proximity is enough to steer people away from entering the playground out of convenience to "cut through". Everyone here belongs. All important points for safety which this place scores highly. Directly inside the circular gate are pairs of benches every few dozen feet so you have visual access to your kids pretty much from all areas. Some are shady depending on the time of day. Kids didn't want to leave even for another playground! That should tell you something. Picnic tables everywhere. Groupings large enough for parties, but far apart from others where you still have your "own space". All in all, this is one to go to. read more

Review #124 - 2018 We've been doing a lot of park visits lately because I need to find some activities for the baby to do during the day time so she can expense all her energy and sleep through the night. The playground was nice and big. The baby had a great time playing on all the slides and play structures. It's definitely well equipped and kept in good shape. The park itself is really nice. There are a few picnic tables and BBQ grills. There's even a childcare center within the park, which my daughter wanted to go play the kids, but couldn't since they're kept in their own fenced off playground. There are plenty of bathroom stalls as well. If this park was closer to home, I'd definitely be here almost everyday. read more

This park is spacious and well maintained. My daughter and nephew had a blast exploring as well as running around in the playground. I love how there are two play structures, one for each age group. The smaller area are for infants and toddlers. Parents and guardians can easily monitor their little ones here. The other part of the playground is designed for bigger kids. This is amazing for kids who want to have fun and run around while the other area is placed in the corner away from the crowd. There's a lot of room! Older kids were running while the little ones crawled around. There's also plenty of parking. If you're looking to have a picnic with your family or friends, I highly recommend this park. Plenty of tables, but we preferred the grass. The neighborhood is quiet and not too much traffic. The only downside is that the gates are wide open on both sides of the playground. I didn't feel comfortable turning my back on the two kids because I was afraid they'd end up exiting from the other side. I'd recommend for the park rangers to build a gate that open and closes. This not only helps to add an extra layer of security for the little ones, but also gives us parents a peace of mind. read more

Perks apparently open however everything still locked up so they need to adjust their actual hours but they're open maybe they just mean you won't be arrested if you're in the park at this hour I don't know. read more

year-old aughter really likes it here. The swings typically work. And they have a cute little xylophone thing. They have slides and stuff for bigger and little kids... Some of the things are starting to break. And the park around it sometimes has homeless people in it. But there are more & more kids going there and more & more families in the area... There is a cute Rose garden right next to it... Awesome place to walk your dog... and a lot of time there's someone who will walk around selling ice cream in the park nearby... If we continue to take care of this park and remodel it and take care of the overall park around it, we will have something nicer anf nicer for our Napa community. And hella close to downtown if you are staying at a hotel on 1st or 2nd Street... Hella easy walking distance... Maybe 10 blocks. read more

My husband and I stopped here for a break from all the walking we were doing in Napa during the day. This place is beautiful and it is near one of my favorite streets in the town of Napa which is Oak Street which is a street lined with Victorian homes, just beautiful. Very family friendly with a playground, towns of tables to have a party or a picnic during the day and very, very clean bathrooms. You would not find something so clean and lovely like this here in San Diego where the homeless have pretty much taken over most of the parks near and around the downtown area. They do close the bathrooms from November until March 1st so keep that in mind if you are planning to picnic there in the Fall or late Winter. It's a great place to take children and just hang out with your friends and family. Beautiful fir trees are in the middle, a very picturesque place to take photographs! Don't forget to walk down Oak Street after you spent time in the Park, it's worth it! read more

I am so glad we found this park while in Napa! I usually come up for wine tasting only, but this time, brought my little one with us and wanted to bring him to the park to test out his new balance bike. This park was perfect. It has a lot of open space for him to play with his bike, and so much distraction at the same time, that he didn't want to play with it too long. The playgrounds were very suitable for my 1 1/2yr old, consisting of slides, swings the whole works. The grounds were soft in case they fell, and so much for the kids to do. Big open grassy areas, with shade as well, if you come in the warmer months. I was thrilled to have brought him here. They also have decently clean park bathrooms too! Yes, it is exciting to have clean park bathrooms, especially when you're out there for hours with your child. I would definitely recommend families bringing their little ones here to play. read more

One of the best parks for kids in Napa. My kid is 2 and I think this i her favorite park because it has the best slides and there are alway kids here. They have 2 structures and 2 sets of swings. There are lots of picnic tables and lots of green grass to run around on. Its in the heart of downtown Napa and worth checking out. read more

Great place to run to and add a few laps for distance (One Lap=1/2 Mile). I usually run here 2-3 times a week at least. I feel that it is a safe place to run or walk in the mornings since there are usually 3-4 people there constantly and is located off of Jefferson street. It is also a dog friendly park with poop bags, but you must have them on a leash at all times. I find this park very convenient to bring the dogs to and always run into friendly people who want to pet them. I have noticed Yoga in the park on Satruday mornings, many parties held in the picnic areas and a popular playground to bring the kids. All parking is on the street surrounding the park and there is always an open spot. read more

This park has come a long way since I played here as a kid. The playground has had an amazing overhaul which includes upgraded equipment and cushy ground covering. How in the heck did we adult-types get to our life stage raised on metal playground structures probably covered with lead paint? Fuller Park is located at the edge of Napa's Old Town. This 10 acre park is a favorite spot for picnics (25 tables and three reservable group sites) and birthday parties. Located throughout the park are various monuments and plaques commemorating important events. Perhaps the most prominent monument is a watering fountain for horses and small animals. Moved to the park in 1965, the fountain was originally created to stand in the center of the intersection of Polk and Franklin Streets in downtown Napa. read more

It's a beautiful little park. Portion has sand with a play structure, lots of swings, and a larger play structure. It has restrooms that are 95% of the time clean. There are lots of picnic benches and shady areas to enjoy a picnic with the family. Also, around the park it's a mile loop so if you're a runner this is a wonderful place to run a measured area. Downside - the homeless or sketchy people. I've only seen maybe 1-2 homeless people since I've been taking my daughter to the park, almost a year. But I see sketchy people who play inappropriate music for children out loud as they walk by smoking. I'm not sure why this children's park have sketchy people walk through that area. But they keep walking and usually never hang out which is nice. read more

Didn't encounter that, but maybe because we went before noon. Yes there was a homeless man asleep in a sleeping bag far from the actual play area. By mid morning he was up and gone. No harm, no foul. This place is awesome. If you're running? The perimeter of this park is 1/2 mile, and it's signed. There are multiple walking paths in the park, so you can in, out, around, and about. In the center of this park is a play are for kids. I have to say, it's a huge play area for a park it's size. Off to the side is a horse shoe pit. Who doesn't love a rousing game of horse shoes, honestly. The bathrooms that are provided are nice. There is also pick nick are, multiple I should say. Not to mention, of you're walking your dog, they provide poop bags. So, there is no reason why people should not pick up their dogs poop. This is a awesome little park that is really fun to hangout in. It is also close to downtown. It's like a ten minute walk. So, in the morning grab your dog, walk downtown and grab a cup of coffee, then walk around this park and enjoy, just make sure you pick up your pooch's poop. read more
