Dr. Fullerton-Stone has been an incredibly disappointing doctor. She prescribed a medicine for my daughter's acne that was $200/month but never instructed us on how best to use it nor that it's efficacy rate has yet to show definitive results. She's impossible to schedule with so it's hard to have a proper followup if needed earlier than the previously scheduled time. She really was a waste of time and money for us. read more

Both myself and my husband have been going to Dr.Fullerton for over 15 years. We find her to be extremely knowledgeable on just about any problem involving the skin. We regularly get checked by her for any cancerous and pre-cancerous skin lesions. She quickly identifies anything suspicious and usually takes care of them in her office. My husband has had fairly bad eczema on much of his body, and Dr. Fullerton prescribed topical cortisone based ointments which worked for a while in the past. However, when they stopped working for my husband, Dr. Fullerton said that many patients with eczema had have good success with Dupixent and recommended it. Using Dupixent did the trick and we are especially grateful for Dr. Fullerton's Medical Assistant Carol's help in navigating and filling out the many forms involved in getting assistance with the co-pay. I am amazed how experience and careful to me doctor could be She saved me from stopping my breastfeeding with my 3 month old daughter I had a huge problems with breastfeeding, after I gave birth of my daughter. It was pain, no matter what. I suffer three months, I met three lactation Consultant. I had treatment from yeast fo FIVE weeks, what really huge dose, for dermatitis, for mastitis, a lot of different creams, treatments, steroids and other. NOTHING worked. Nothing! I met SIX different doctors and nobody knew what is wrong with me. I was so sad. I cryed a lot, suffering for already three months, i was in a great stress. I was ready to give up But then miracle happened. I met Serena Meyer, which is just greatest Lactation Consultant in the world and she recommended me dr. Fullerton. Just in one appointment, dr. Fullerton understood the reason of my problem, give me correct diagnosis and medication. Currently my baby is six months old and I don't have any problems. I enjoy breastfeeding. I've written a few reviews for Yelp, usually restaurants, as that's the time I use Yelp the most, but I forget Yelp is for EVERYTHING!! I decided to get on today and talk up my favorite docs. Today's doctor is Stephanie Honor Fullerton Stone and although this doesn't help you in any way, is that the most commanding name ever or what? Well, if you want someone to take command of the skin on your face and body, here is your woman. Going to her office is always a pleasure. Office staff, who have been with her for years and years and years are friendly (who stays for years unless you are treated well?) and the mural in the waiting room is so gorgeous you won't mind the short time spent there (don't even try reading a magazine, the wait isn't long enough for a movie review). The part that works so well for me is this office is a perfect combination of deadly serious (body mapping, to be sure you don't have a cancerous lesion lurking in some spot you--or even someone you love, might not see, or you do have one and it needs to come off) to the absolute fun of a spa (Longer eyelashes! Treatments of many varieties from superficial to very deep.). My primary motivation for going here for 15 years is the person who is going to guide you is a board certified physician. Although people at Nordstrom's might know make-up and the woman at the aesthetician's might know eye brows, no one is going to make a more educated, thoughtful and sound decision about the treatment of your skin, and have the undiluted, full prescription strength products both the department stores and the cosmetologist's try to imitate, than she is. My trust in her is implicit, she radiates an air of confidence that makes you feel you are in good hands from the moment she walks in and at the same time she is personable, funny, efficient and just nice. My only wish would be more time with her because she is sooooo popular (so book early!), her time is valuable--and this is a business, one which has supplied me with hundreds of dollars worth of free products over the years, substantial discounts on services and they have great free samples and smooth flowing free pens! I have had Kaiser the entire time I've gone to this office, but I have always chosen to go outside and pay independently for my dermatological care as I always feel special and valued there, and she is most definitely worth it. read more

Dr Fullerton Stone is fantastic. Over almost 20 years, she's treated me for pre-cancerous conditions (due to too much sun in my youth) and always been conscious of which are covered by my PPO insurance, and which are not. Some things we do on a cash basis and have had excellent results that I might not have had with anyone else. Eg using Kybella for benign lipoma on my ribcage; Fractional C02 laser on my neck; and yearly removal of ugly sebaceous keratoses that I am prone to. I am now on Medicare Advantage Plan that Dr Fullerton is not part of, but I will continue to see her for my "non reimbursable" skin procedures. read more

Dr. Fullerton is fantastic. I would give 10 stars if I could. In my younger years I got much too much unprotected sun. I had my first skin cancer at age 32. Over many years since then I have had many skin cancer spots. During the first years of this I saw half a dozen dermatologists so I am in a good position to make comparisons. Dr. Fullerton is the best. She has treated me with cold nitrogen, excision, excision in combination with biopsy, several different topical creams for existing and pre-cancer conditions, blue light therapy, and referral for Mohs surgery. She explains what she is doing and why and gives options. Her office was one of the early users in this area for blue light technology for skin cancer prevention. She has now given me the good news that my early skin damage condition is mostly cured and I can go onto a less intensive maintenance program. This is especially gratifying because I have continued to do outdoor activities all during this time while using the sun protections she recommends. Her office staff is professional and at the same time nice. Karen gives me companionship during the blue light therapy. Carol is a demon on my behalf for insurance reimbursement for expensive prescriptions. The front desk people are efficient and friendly. The appointments are on time, no long waits. There was a Yelp criticism for Dr. Fullerton being overly pushy for skin care. In my case I appreciate that Dr. Fullerton sometimes tells me things I don't want to hear. read more

I hardly know where to begin with the good things I have to say about this wonderful doctor. My husband and I have both been seeing her for routine visits and a few removal procedures for many years, and I can attest that she is one of those dedicated professionals who sincerely cares about each of her patients' overall well-being, not just those issues falling within her specialty. On one occasion she noticed something which she felt merited a referral to another field for which I remain eternally grateful, as my primary-care physician at the time had not even so much as hinted that it might potentially be a problem. Reading through the other reviews here I see that someone did have a bad experience, but I am guessing that might just be a matter of perspective. I was seen by her around that same time, and I do remember that she was excited to tell me about a new procedure in which she had just received training. I specifically recall that the conversation was not at all "pushy" -- just advising me that something new was available in case it was of interest to me. But I was already pre-disposed to like her very much by then, not a brand-new patient, so perhaps that informed my positive interpretation of her well-intentioned delivery of that option. Bottom line? I look forward to every annual visit with this warm and competent woman. If I could see her for all of my general medical needs, I would gladly do so! read more

I would give Dr. Honor Fullerton Stone 10 stars if I could because she is twice the Dermatologist of any other doctor I have been to. For eight plus years I had an unsightly skin condition that itched like crazy. Not one doctor (and there were many) that I went to helped me, until I found Dr. Honor Fullerton Stone. She explained to me that my lab results were ambiguous, if not misleading, but she felt confident that she had figured out what was really going on and could help me. Help me she did! She CURED me! ~And for the first time in over eight years, I feel comfortable in my own skin! It's not just that she is the smartest doctor that I've ever been to, she is also professional, warm, caring, informative, and answered all my questions with complete explanations. Her office is clean and comfortable and her assistant, Carol, and her office staff are efficient and kind. I feel so lucky that Dr. Fullerton Stone took me on as a new patient! Dr Fullerton to me, is a model of what a caring and efficient doctor should be like. I have had a persistent and increasingly annoying dermatological issue that several other doctors in the area had attempted to correct in over 10 years of sometimes painful sessions. On our first visit she suggested we nip the problem aggressively since I had already suffered plenty. With patience and flexibility in her schedule (due to the timing of treatments) she eradicated the issue and made sure it will not return. Throughout the treatments she always listened to my concerns, addressed them, and never made me feel rushed in any way. I should also add a comment for her excellent staff who made the multiple visits work out even during my own hectic scheduling challenges. Highly recommended! read more

Dr. Fullerton is wonderful. I've been struggling with controlling my breakouts for years. I tried facials, topical creams, various antibiotics, but nothing had worked. She suggested I try isotretinoin, and it has made my breakouts go away completely. I have been on it for about 5 months and Dr. Fullerton has been great at helping me through the Ipledge process ( a program you have to been on if you are a female using isotretinoin) and her staff is welcoming and friendly. She also helps you find methods to deal with the side effects of strong drugs. For me she suggested ways of keeping my skin, eyes, and nose from becoming dry and irritated while on isotretinoin. I would recommend her to anyone that has issues with acne because she finds something that really works for you. read more

I have mixed experiences. Doctor Fullerton Stone helped my daughter, who had bad acne, by putting her on Accutane (this was our last resort after trying many other treatments that didn't involve strong drugs.) It definitely worked to rid her of the acne and stop if before it created a lot of pitting. The flip side is, I'm older and still have break outs in addition to Sebaceous Hyperplasia. I was prescribed strong topical retinols that made my face peel really badly to the point where it was so flaky I couldn't apply make-up well, which compounded my poor appearance. They gave me milder versions that still made my face very flaky, and when I returned and provided them with my feedback saying this wasn't working for me, they told me to just keep using it. One nurse suggested I might have been reading things online that influenced how I felt. ?! No, it's what my skin on my face is doing - all you have to do is look at it to see it. I think they are usually good at writing the right prescriptions but in my case that did not work and they just gave up and said "oh well." And when you call 10 or 5 minutes before 5 (because, hey, we have busy days, too) nobody answers the phone. At any rate, I am getting better results from facials that use a combination of microdermabrasion, mild peels, and anti-acne treatments and I also found some old Clindamycin lotion I use on occasional bad zits and that generally clears them up without making my whole face peel off. read more

I would not go back to Dr. Fullerton. I am 52 and went for a checkup primarily to ensure no cancer. was present. I took my 17-year old daughter for a checkup as well, with the hope of having Dr. Fullerton teach her a bit about sun risk and taking care of her skin. Instead, she spent the entire time trying to talk me into cosmetic surgery, botox, etc, right in front of my daughter. Not a great lesson, and entirely inappropriate in any event as I had not even asked or expressed any interest. Dr Fullerton even argued with my daughter when she said she thought I looked great and didn't need a thing. The Dr. then told me she wanted me to at least "try a serum" and gave me a small bottle. When we went to check out, I was charged almost $200 for this serum; to add insult to injury, it lasted just over a week. What a scam. She spent less than two minutes checking for what I went for in the first place. Very disappointed. read more
