We fought them in court, and won! Douglas Bos mismanaged the funds available for the project and went back on his word. He demanded more money and gave me a bill for $10,000+ to finish the job. We refused to pay! He filed a mechanics lien with courts for that amount. Mechanic lien will stay on record and if you ever try to sell or refinance contractors can collect amount. However, we sued him in small claims court. Max for small claims is $10,000. We had to appear 3 times because first he was a no show and we won all of it. Second time he appeared and asked for an appeal and extension to prepare documents. 3rd time he didn't show and we won a third of the amount for repairs. Roughly $4,000. We finished the job with the money we won. Provided documents to mortgage company to send inspector for job being 100% complete. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP HIM OR CONTRACTORS IS TO NOT BE 100% COMPLETE ON INSPECTION. We were at 85% on inspection report but Doug insisted he was done! If you ever have questions on how to beat this clown just ask. He's a retired cop, crook and liar. He works for you! Don't let him bully you around. read more

UPDATE: I've had so many people contact me since my original post asking what to do because they've experienced the same fraud and bad business from these guys. My recommendation is this: contact the contractors licensing board and file a complaint with them. In response to Doug's reply to my review. It's laughable because the truth is they tried to intimidate me into letting them do the home repairs, and I was planning to hire my own crew - so ACTUALLY I couldn't get them out of my house fast enough. By no means did I want extra work. And I'm sure you can tell by his arrogant response the type of man he is and the type of business he conducts. I had a slab leak that absolutely destroyed my flooring, but I didn't quite know what to do. I called Full House, they gave great customer service over the phone. Then they sent the sweetest young men, even in such a short period of time. They explained everything to me, without making me feel stupid, then referred a great plumber. The plumber fixed my leak, and the Full House workers even restored my flooring. And it looks even better than before!
