I had the luck of being referred by a friend to Dave Ferguson at Fullscope Inspections. Dave has been amazing to work with. He provided me with a full home inspection, including radon. The cost was a bit more than average, but well worth the professionalism and quality of care he took with inspecting my home. Dave sat with me and reviewed the report with me after the inspection. He took his time and answered all my questions thoughtfully, and in a way, I understood. He explained what he found and how I could address it myself where appropriate, and his report included those details, as well as recommendations on what should be done professionally. I really appreciated the way he explained everything and I am going to try to implement some of his suggestions myself (adding grading to some areas of my home, adding a gutter where one is needed, fixing some missing flashing, etc.). More importantly, Dave made himself available past the inspection, which was really great because I ran into an issue with my lender regarding my basement. Dave created a copy of his findings regarding the basement and made it into a separate report for my lender. When dealing with a lender, you should only ever provide what they request and not offer anything extra. So, I was super impressed that he was able to create just the foundation/basement report for me. I had to call him multiple times for follow-up questions from my lender. He always answered my calls promptly, and with professionalism, and I felt respected throughout our dealings. Dave was wonderful from the first phone interaction until the inspection was entirely complete. Called on a Thursday and he was able to schedule us the following day. The report style Dave uses gives lots of clear explanations of issues and potential ways to correct as well as handy photographs and videos throughout that we will be able to refer to in the future when electricians and contractors come to do work. He was professional, thorough, and patient when going through his inspection report with us and all questions were kindly answered with a certain care you only get from someone who genuinely knows their work and wants to do it well. There was a minor concern my wife and I had after the inspection so we called him at 9pm that night to see if he would be able to go back to put our minds at ease. Dave was very helpful through the whole process of an inspection . Before i even bought a house asked him questions and never hurried me off the phone helping me the whole way . With the crazy house market you have to wave an inspection and that is nerve racking to say the least Dave really knows his stuff to help .
