The tech asked if I was interested in cameras; took a measurement of my WiFi signal; and was able to installation driveway camera WILE HE WAS HERE!! And it wasn't too expensive!     Absolutely horrible. After being a customer for over 18 1/2…read moreyears, we have requested cancellation of our monitoring service. We gave them a chance to offer us a solution to remove the necessary wired phone line. They only offered us an option to pay $200 for a cellular communicator and then significantly INCREASE our monthly monitoring charge plus start again on a 3 year contract. Who would agree to this? 18 1/2 years as a customer isn't enough? To stay as a customer of their monitoring service we would now need to start all over on another 3 year contract. Is that reasonable? So we had to cancel, but Vector will not process it. When we called they said we had to email to cancel. When we emailed, they responded we had to call. What kind of company behaves this way? You can read other customer reviews here on yelp. Vector isn't even responding to these customer issues shown on Yelp. What does that tell you? Is that how a reputable organization behaves? We have now filed a Better Business Bureau complaint to get our billing stopped and the service cancelled. Should this be necessary to cancel a simple monitoring service after being a customer for 18 1/2 years?
