However he charged us the same amount. When we challenged the amount he said he quoted us a higher amount and did reduce it. We reviewed our video footage since he was on speaker phone and that was completely false. So just beware of that.

However I would if possible definitely want to give more than 5 stars to Justin in the Jacksonville Safe Touch service center. Justin is an extremely helpful and a very patient service representative!! I have had three different issues come up over the past month re: 3 different component failures within my Safe Touch security system. All 3 issues occurred on weekend days when the Tallahassee office is closed during the weekend. I thus called S T's Jacksonville location. In doing so, I was very fortunate to have reached Justin. He was able to guide me through the process that was necessary in order to stop what had been a failed component's weekend long beeping warning sounds :-( . And today Justin very patiently stepped me though the processes that helped to rectify a third system component which had caused my entire security system to completely stop functioning over the weekend. I truly hope Safe Touch's management team fully realizes just how very fortunate S T is to have an exemplary employee such as Justin. We received no help from Scott Alarm and we stopped the noise by removing the battery. When the power came back on at 2 in the morning, the system blared again. Two police officers came in response to the alarm and assisted us in disconnecting the sound device. While they were in our home, we called Scott Alarm 3 times, each time being told they would connect us to their service department. No one in the service department ever answered, even after we had explained that police officers were in our home trying to assist us with the alarm. Since that time, we have left numerous detailed messages which have never been answered. We are paying for an alarm system that has left us unprotected for 5 days and we are outraged! There seems to be no way to get this company to perform according to our contract with them. We tried to stop payment to them and there was no way to do this. If anyone has a suggestion on how to get relief from this company, please post that as soon as possible.

Predatory practices and harassment of the elderly…read more I am appalled by ADT's refusal to honor my elderly mother's cancellation requests. She sent a letter in October and called in November, yet reps repeatedly ignored her "no," circling back with sales pitches until she was forced to hang up. It took me stepping in and threatening to record the call in January for them to finally process the request - but only after 45 minutes of bullying. They continued billing her for months after she legally requested a stop. If you value honesty and respect for seniors, stay far away from this company. They don't provide security; they provide harassment.

They read through a ready-made "script" every time, and do not seem to even look at what has been written during my previous phone calls. I have replaced batteries 3 times! No one has been able to make the beeping stop. I have tried to contact ADT Corporate headquarters, but their listed phone number only directs one to the local customer support department. ADT has been totally incompetent!!!
