Tal M. and Leslie Alvarez, owners of Good Guys Locksmith, did not work on my car. Using Google I searched for auto locksmith jacksonville fl which displayed several picks. I selected "10 best locksmiths in Jax". Several picks were provided and I selected many to compare prices and their understanding of what I needed. Unnoticed by me when I selected a company the website changed to Yelp.com. Therefore my COMMENT is directed to Yelp.com and NOT GOOD GUYS LOCKSMITH. If your search sends you to Yelp.com and an answering service answers be sure you get a firm quote. Had Tal not called me I would not have known this mistake. My keys got lost and I found myself without my car keys or house keys a feeling I never want to feel again but luckily I called Good guy locksmith and a gentleman by the name of Tal came to the rescue he immediately got me in my home without any damage to my door or lock we were concerned about my home security and he was able to replace my locks all rekeyed to the same key witch was amazing because I had all diferente keys prior also he was able to make me 2 brand new keys for my car in no time I truly truly recommend calling this company fantastic customer service and really reasonable prices for quality locks and keys he even gave us 6 months warranty on the locks and also the key fobs 5 stars hands down.!!! read more

Needed to get a new key fob programmed for my vehicle and everywhere else said that it would take a few hours and would cost between $300-400. They came out and had everything done in under 25 minutes. All these other places said they would have to take the entire dash off to do it, turns out that was a lie to jack up the price. Tal came to our house about an hour after I contacted him to extract a key that broke off in a trailer hitch mounted bike carrier. It was complicated by a weather cover sliding over the key hole making it difficult to get at the broken piece of the key. We were heading out of town on vacation and wouldn't be able to bring the bikes without his help. It is a commercial structure and I thought I would probably have to buy a new lock, but Tal was able to diagnose and fix the lock I had.
