The ice cream was legitimately good, well priced, and the staff was friendly. There's plenty of parking, a few tables, and the whole vibe was just right (tonight, anyway!) They do it RIGHT. The dish of chocolate had Jimmies in the bottom of the dish, ice cream, jimmies on top and THEN whipped cream - so you get jimmies in every bite! Sign said open, lights were on and other customers were in their cars. It was 6:50pm. Kids went up to order and the man and woman working seemed very annoyed to have customers. My daughter came back to the car and told me the man said the "F word" as he came in to help with the ice cream. My son came back to the car and reported the same thing. Watching from the car, the couple seemed to also be having words with each other. My 74 year old father came back to the car and also said they were rude and seemed as though they didn't want any business. They flicked off their lights as soon as we stepped away from the window despite another customer approaching. This was about 7:04pm. I'm not sure why they have chosen such a joyful business if they don't have any joy to spread. I'm not happy that we spent our money there.

I got the soft serve "twist," my friend got a hard flavor. We both said it was "as good as any other we've ever had" & we are both ice cream afficionados. Reasonably priced, good-sized portions. A bit hard to find as the address is Rt 28 but it's in the back. Nice array of pigs, chickens, ducks, a cow & several goats in the back. We're "city" people so enjoyed seeing the animals almost as much as we did eating the ice cream.
