    Italian sub

We stumbled on this place on the way to Cooperstown and couldn't be more thrilled. The owner is a sweetheart and hard worker. The sandwiches may be the best I've ever had in my life- he sliced all of the meat to order and piled it high with all of the other goodies. We also got some of the freshly filled cannolis- yum! It was hard not to leave with more delicious things because it all looked so good, plus there's a nursery with beautiful plants. Three sandwiches easily fed our family of 6 with leftovers to spare. We will be stopping again on our way out and you should too!

i drove an hour for a sub and i do not regret it one bit. the owner is so sweet. the sub is so yum. no complaints. i wish they had kettle cooked chips but that doesn't lower my rating of this sub shop. i got their italian sub and added pepperoni. 10/10 would drive an hour for this again and again and over again. i also got a large cannoli. i think i've had a cannoli maybe once or twice but it was yum. my rating might be distorted due to not being a cannoli enthusiast but this cannoli might have changed that. i could be the next cannoli connoisseur since i don't know how another sub shop will top this sub, therefore no longer on the search for the best italian sub. unfortunately i did not take a picture of the cannoli before stuffing my face with it.

On a road trip from GA to NH in October, to see the foliage, we stopped for gas in Cobleskill. We asked if there was a sub shop nearby and the clerk sent us to Perrone's Farm. If I could give him 10 stars I would! From greeting us to making us a monster sub, Mr. Perrone has to be the nicest man in town! I am 100% Italian myself, so I naturally have an affection for Italians! We also got some Cannoli Cookies and a souvenir Tshirt. Fast forward 3 weeks...on our way home, we made sure to stop there again! Wonderful people, great place..you must visit!!

This is hands down the best sandwich I've ever had! The owner is very respectable and kind. This is one of those sandwiches you need both of your hands to eat with because of how much volume there is to it! This shop was hit hard by the c0vid shutdown and is trying to rebuild. Take the time to stop by and try out your new favorite sandwich shop! Also, the cookies are fantastic as well!

Very homey little family-run farm stand with a sandwich and ice cream counter inside. The sandwiches are Boar's Head, but with some nice accents (home-made, we think, roasted peppers) and run in the sub and make-your-own variety, with a couple of special (the one with olive loaf and cottage cheese, I did have the courage to try, but we did a Perrone's special). The deli salads were a little heavy on sugar, and the bread (which always makes the sandwich) not so wonderful. Really friendly proprietors make it worth a stop if you need a quick bite or want some veggies/produce. Perry's ice cream for the ice cream counter. Prices were on the high-normal side, $9 or so for a medium-sized sandwich. Note you are likely to drive right by it, since there's virtually no sign; look for the plastic greenhouses on the north side of the road next to the car dealership. No restroom! Dining facilities inside are a few high tables, but there are picnic tables outside with a mountain ridge view if you come there in season.

Superb service!! My son had a ham and cheese sandwich that was absolutely espectacular Hubby has the chicken parm, it was outstanding. BUT THE EGGPLANT PARM WAS TO DIE FOR!! Even by itself (mr. Perrone gave us a sample) was simply well season and well cooked. At the end, Mr. Perrone treated us to a fresh expresso! Nothing like old school Italian customer service!!!

Well deserved 5 stars. Local deli and shop with fresh breads, vegetables, etc. The man working behind the counter is so sweet! I ordered a turkey and roast beef sub with the works over the phone, he knew my order when I arrived and had it all ready to go. The sandwich is HUGE (see pic) The bread was fresh. The meat was excellent quality. The sliced tomato and onion tasted like they were just picked from the garden. 10/10. Skip the subway nearby, you don't want to miss this place. And come hungry!!!

Driving from pa to Albany found this little gem along the way. Owner (Joe) Mr. Perrone has an infectious smile, great guy! We both got a boars head turkey hoagies there was enough meat to feed a family, heaviest sandwich I have ever bought! The cannoli was awesome! There are so many choices of Italian specialties in cooler to have a great meal! If your traveling, this place is small in size but large in satisfaction !
