Loving - Meghan is like a second mom to our daughter and has four children of her own. Reading and writing - Due to the pandemic and developmental delays, our daughter needed extra help in reading and handwriting, and Meghan proactively started working with our daughter every afternoon in these areas. Her progress has been phenomenal and Meghan has been absolutely instrumental in getting her ready for kindergarten.  Potty training - Our daughter's preschool required potty training for enrollment and 2 weeks before school started, we dove head first into potty training with Meghan supporting every step of the way.  She even had 2 other students start potty training along with our daughter for extra encouragement and it was an amazing success! Imagine potty training 3 kids at the same time, she really is a super woman! Food - Our daughter is a selective eater and has special needs, and Meghan's extensive experience teaching children with special needs and working with kids failing to thrive was instrumental in expanding our daughter's appetite and willingness to try new foods. Meghan also serves super healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks everyday containing complex carbohydrates and protein, such as salads with veggies grown from their garden(!), roasted sweet potatoes, tofu, chickpeas, fresh popped popcorn (the house smells deliciously of popcorn every afternoon at pickup), and oatmeal with different nut and fruit toppings. I feel great about the foods my daughter is eating and not having to pack lunch is an amazing gift! Fun activities - Everyday we get videos and photos of the kids from STEMsprouts and they are always doing a fun variety of activities, including growing and harvesting vegetables from the garden, raising caterpillars and learning about their life cycle to become butterflies, helping to make homemade fruit leather, doing jigsaw puzzles, building colossal Magnatile structures, Mandarin language learning activities and more! I often watch the videos and wish I was there joining the fun too! She is happy, confident, reading at a 1st grade level at the age of 5, and has lots of friends. I was especially impressed to see how KAM transitioned in new teachers. Two long-time teachers were retiring, and they brought in new teachers for 6 months prior to the veteran teachers retiring, so they could learn the school's rhythms and also the children had plenty of time to get used to the new teachers. Between my kids, this is the 4th preschool they've attended and KAM handled this transition the best I've ever seen. I recognize that a transition like this is very costly from a financial perspective but it is honestly the best and most healthy option for the students. I feel so grateful for a supportive, nurturing, and loving community that puts the students first. I give KAM my highest recommendation.

I never had to worry about them when they were at the daycare because I knew they were in great hands. Sherry and her team of two teachers worked together to make sure they were well-cared for, and provided them with lots of individual attention. Sherry runs a small daycare with a provider to child ratio of 1:3, and is flexible with providing early morning and weekend care whenever we needed it. My daughter and son ate so much better at the daycare than they ever did at home! Sherry is also a very kind-hearted person. She came to my home several times on the weekends to help me with my daughter and to see me when I was postpartum, all without expecting anything in return. When I was in a car accident, I called her and she came and picked up my children and took them to her daycare so I could deal with my car being towed and repaired. She goes above and beyond and treats people as if they were family. I absolutely trust Sherry and her daycare. My daughter and son have never had any concerns while they attended.
