I didn't have much fun at Fun Noodle Bar. Unfortunately, this 3 star review all comes down to the service my friends and I received while eating here. We had 3 different waiters/waitresses help us throughout our dining experience. We didn't know who we were tipping when the check came. We had ordered some bao buns along with the rest of our meal that never came. When we asked about them, she said she'd take them off the check. We weren't sure if she meant they were still going to bring them just on the house for the inconvenience or if she wasn't even bringing them out. We asked where our buns were, and she said she took them off and was not going to bring them to us. We said "no, we want our bao buns" so after we finished our meal, they FINALLY came out when we were full, and they still charged us. This was incredibly unprofessional. The rest if the meal was stellar. Everything tasted great! We also got some Chicken Fried Rice, Beef Noodles, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Crab Cheese Rangoons. The rangoons were a little.. odd. They used yellow cheese instead of cream cheese which isn't normal and I personally didn't like it as much. I'd like to come back again and give their service another chance, but only because the food is delicious. If it weren't, I wouldn't be back. read more

On a cold and overcast day, we were looking for some warm suit. We search yelp to find out who had the best Pho in Lubbock. We were blown away by the quality of noodles and ingredients use. The wait time is a bit long for in person, but they have a sign up sheet where they make sure to seat people based on order of arrival. I ordered takeout of roasted beef wrap and chicken pan fried sliced noodles. I would recommend calling ahead of time to place order for pickup rather than waiting for them to take your takeout order upon arrival they are quiet busy and it can take around 30mins and they don't have outdoor seating. 5/5 taste, well flavored not overly salty. The noodles had the QQ chewy/bouncy texture I love. 4/5 quantity - the beef rolls are a little underwhelming in portion, but the noodles were a good portion. Overall great experience and am excited at having high quality noodles in the area! read more

Came with intention of eating sushi. There was no sushi. Noodles were still fire though, literally and metaphorically. Youpo noodles are so good but so spicy. You will need tissues. Also cool to see the chef pulling noodles while you eat. Nice place to try but would also recommend the Amarillo location (they have sushi). read more

The waitress was so kind and patient with me, which I really appreciate. I went on a Wednesday night and they were packed but service was still quick. I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and subbed the pork for chicken as well as some beef dumplings. In all honesty the dumplings did not stand out as much as the ramen did. The ramen broth was smooth, creamy and flavorful. The boiled egg soaked in the flavor from the broth and was so delish. On the table they have chili oil that you can add to your plate if you want to spice it up. They make all their noodles in house, which I find to be a plus. This place is a hidden gem in West Texas! The place is on the smaller size, so if it's the weekend you will probably have to do the "waiting list". They have regular noodles, dry and fried as well. You can seat by the food bar, and basically get a view of how the do the plates. The steamed dumplings are a must try! Plates range from around $12 - $15. The food is fresh, tasty and big size portions. They also have to-go options, which some people prefer due to the waiting times. You have to try this is you are in Lubbock! read more

My friend and I ordered through Grubhub from Fun Noodle Bar, but our Grubhub delivery driver messed up our order and delivered to the wrong address, the Grubhub picture did not include our floor placemat or our door in the picture, and Grubhub refused to help us. Frustratingly, we didn't get our order. No idea what happened there, and we searched the entire complex but couldn't find the food, so we assume that our neighbors took it. Fun Noodle Bar worked hard and they made sure to deliver another order directly to us. Fun Noodle Bar had great service and we are so grateful for them. Do not ever order through Grubhub. They will mess up the delivery. But always order from Fun Noodle Bar. Their food is delicious, and they will work hard to get you your food. We will order from them many times again. read more

I AM SO HAPPY! I live down the street and have been eyeing this place everyday. Once it finally opened I gave it a week for things to settle down. I went on a Friday at lunch and the wait was still 35mins. Take a glance at them hand making noodles and dumplings! We ordered about 10 different things: WINNER: Sliced Noodle Soup. The flavors and textures in this soup is next level. Honorable Mention: Pan fried Bao, potstickers and spicy baby cucumber Needs Work: Soup Dumplings......I was so excited to see these on the menu. This place tastes amazing! Their Bao is specifically wonderful. I decided to come try this place out by myself since my boyfriend is out of town. I have never gone out to dinner by myself but felt very welcomed and taken care of here. I enjoyed being able to play games on my laptop while testing the things I purchased. Fun Noodle Bar is extremely popular and it is completely justified. I've been eating at fun noodle for a year or so now and every single time I've gone the food has been immaculate. The portions are HUGE for and I always have leftovers when I get the ramen. The servers are kind and attentive (shout out to my server that gave my girlfriend and I an extra egg in our ramen) even when the restaurant is packed the wait staff is still very attentive.
