The staff of Fun Outdoor Living really did an awesome job. I had a gas fireplace with a 16' patio built in the spring although the crews did an awesome job, I felt that it needed a walkway to make it look better. I contacted Cane who came over and provided an estimate. I waited a couple of months before being able to move forward. Zane replied to my message on a Friday night with plans to move forward. Anthony with Fun Outdoor Living called me quickly to look at a schedule for us to meet. He came by to draw out the design and was ready to move forward. The crew arrived 2 days later land completed my project in a half day. They also did an excellent job laying the pavers and blending the walkway into the patio. The project design and build turned out much better than I expected. I am extremely pleased with the great customer service and the completed project. I feel I received a great product at a reasonable price. "Anthony" did an awesome awesome job managing the project and assuring Everything was complete. Anthony and Zane were extremely polite. I am so thankful that Zane assigned Anthony to work with me as the project manager. Additionally, Adam from the Indian Trail, now Matthews, did an awesome job helping me with the purchase of my latest green egg. My wife and I will be visiting the Matthews location in hopes of purchasing a hot tub. We can not say enough about how happy we are with our outdoor paradise, Fun Outdoor Living built for us. Everyone from the start, of laying the patio, building the pergola, staining it, electricians, building fireplace and island, delivery and set up of hot tub, awesome ceiling in pergola, with lights and fan, were perfect. Hard working gentlemen, and so polite. We owe all this dream come true to Andrey Fleyshman!! He is the best, gave us so many good ideas, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and job done perfect! We consider Andrey our friend and is always welcome in our home. Adam K. and his crew were wonderful. We had a patio with a fire pit and landscape lighting installed. We also had our driveway extended and backyard gate entry expanded. Initially, wanted to expand our deck. Adam, sat and listened to us. Through consultation and the use of virtual drawings we created an outdoor living space that we had not imagined possible. Instead of replacing or altering the deck we were able to add more space for relaxing and entertaining. The work is beautiful; the crew dedicated and hard working. They were communicative, professional and neat. Our job even included beautiful landscaping and we remained within our budget! We have already recommended their services!! read more

We have done business three times over the last four years with Fun Outdoor Living and couldn't be more pleased. Each time we have worked with Andrey and he is great to work with, very detail oriented, and follows through on each project. In the past four months we worked with Andrey to have a beautiful travertine patio installed and just this week we extended that patio and also purchased a hot tub. From day one Andrey followed through with each step of the process and kept us updated each day. Working with Fun Outdoor Living over the last few months has allowed us to completely redesign our backyard and we love it! If you're in the market for patios, grills, hot tubs, etc. you need to call them. We are already planning our next project and will definitely work with them again. read more

I purchased a grill and a outdoor burner from them and wanted to install it myself. The salesperson was very helpful. However when I was reading the instructions to install the units there was a discrepancy between what was provided and what was included from the manufacture. I spoke with John the owner he was less than helpful. He wanted to tell me what I was reading was wrong and tells me about his 15 years experience in the business. If he had been more interested in learning and helping me we both would've learned something. I would suggest you forget about doing business with this local company and order it off the Internet if you are going to do it yourself and get the cost savings read more

We couldn't be happier with our hot tub and our experience there. John, the owner and Andrey worked very closely with us through the whole process to make sure we would be happy with our purchase. We love our hot tub and use it almost every night! They had amazing customer service. They even let me come into the showroom and do a "wet test" to make sure I liked a lounger seat. OK so we were lazy and didn't do more research and just went with Fun Outdoor based on reviews. Our neighbor did research and went with another company. The salesperson came out to our house. We weren't sure about what we exactly wanted to do so he drew something up and it seemed fine. We wanted some other things done but decided to wait to see their work, which Im glad we did. He said a start date would be set up, but it depended on rainy season. We had to go to their store (not that close to us as we live in Lancaster) to look at samples and give a check. (neighbors company brought samples to them). Then we waited and waited. We finally got a call but it was only to try and sell us patio furniture. We continued to wait, but when we saw that the neighbors were having theirs built (despite rainy season) we called up and only then did they set up a date.....which they postponed because they were behind schedule. When they came to work I asked if they could roll the sod they removed and put it on a bare area we had. They said they would but it would cost extra. I told them that the neighbors company did it for free. They then said it was impossible to roll the sod as it was too rooted in. They made a big deal of trying to pull up corners of the sod. I told them forget it. (I later researched it and found that bermuda grass could be rolled up if it was wetted down. I certainly didnt expect them to do that extra work wetting it down but dont like to be handed bull) They then wanted another payment before even doing any work. We wanted to charge it, was when we found out they would charge us 5% extra if we charged. Wish we had known that earlier. They finally finished and it was ok. I was not crazy about the large pillars that looked out of place. They didn't seem that big in the diagram but it just ended up that way. What looked really ridiculous was these tiny caps they put on top of the pillars. The ones in the diagram were twice the size. We told that to the workman still there and he said it was no problem, he would switch them to the larger size. The saleman called us and told us we were wrong and that they didnt make that size. And rather than research himself, he told us to look at the contract and diagram, which we did and we were right. And again rather than checking on it himself, told us to email him a copy of the contract as it appeared he still didnt believe us. He saw we were right, and they were eventually replaced, with no apology. Magically they did carry that size. We are going to have additional work done and this time we will use the neighbors company. This is a new community and many are looking to build patios. I tell them who NOT to use. read more

great quality products and work. We now have a completely renovated backyard space that my whole family loves! Our retaining wall is amazing, and our stained patio looks like expensive Italian tile.
