There is no better arcade with affordable games on the boardwalk than Fun Plaza. I loved playing skee ball (50 cents per game) and ice hockey ($3 per game) here. You buy a Fun card from the vending machine inside for 40 cents and simultaneously add how much you want to spend for playing games ($5, $10, $20, etc) using a credit card or cash. Then swipe your Fun card at each game's electronic pad and reload the card at the vending machine using a credit card/cash. I will save my Fun card for usage next summer.

This is the best ocean front arcade in MB. It is HUGE. They have cards you can purchase and reload. As usual with any arcade, its really hard to win a lot of tickets so you are going to spend a LOT of money, however it's tons of fun! Stay away from the claw machines if possible because they are really weak. The one with the golden eggs seemed to be most promising. They have some cool prizes though, and the staff are all really helpful especially if you have a problem with a machine! The bathroom was kind of weird. Each little stall was closed by a shower curtain and they were really tiny, but hey at least they have toilets!

This Arcade was super fun! My husband and I love going to arcades any vacation we take! This arcade is big from the inside! Lots of games and the least we expected was pinball machines! We absolutely love pinball! The games are very affordable. We had used 20$ and we played soooooo many games! We were there for almost 1 hr 30mins. The arcade is clean and everything is well taken care of. Will we come back? Heck yeah! See y'all soon!

Mens bathroom. If I buy you a shower curtain for 10 bucks can I put it up next time I am there??

Love this place. Spent a lot of time playing video games and some of the ticket/coin games like Willy Wonka. The only complaint that we now have joked about for years is the mens bathroom. Come on spend a couple bucks for at least a shower curtain on the toilet stall. Walked in on my buddy and he waved at me while going to the bathroom. Funny lasting story but I don't know how you can get away with this?

This is one of my favorite places to visit in Myrtle Beach!! I absolutely love playing the baseball pinball machines! Everyone knows if I'm near them I'm going to be playing them for a while. Even if I win the daily max of twice, I'm still going to play just for fun. There's tons of other games so there's something for everyone. My dad and I love to play the clown ball game where you try to knock the clowns down. I also love playing the basketball game as well. Even when it's very busy in the summertime they have people walking around making sure all the games are cleaned and ready for the next person. It's a place I've gone my whole life and its always remained pretty similar all those years. One major change is they let u load game cards now which makes it easier than using quarters. It's very family friendly. The boardwalk also runs right beside it which makes it so nice to walk right out to the beach from here.

Fun Plaza on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach is a fun place for games and a good time. I miss not being able to go to an arcade like this all of the time and it is good to be able to have a place like this to relax or get competitive if needed. This space is well managed and I like all of the games that they have available. This is a good value for fun and good times.

The most fun part for me was the sign. It's not the arcade of old, which would be much more fun. It's a bunch of more modern games, where u can win tickets, and if you have 9 million tickets you might be able to get an iPod or something.... I do really like Myrtle Beach though, the whole place is quirky, unique and it's fun to walk around. And the ocean is definitely not overrated, I wonder if you can rate the Atlantic Ocean on Yelp?

This is a very old world/60's arcade located on the boardwalk at Myrtle Beach. Its got your skeeball, your pinball, all the great old games that you win coupons to exchange for....well, junk. The noise level here is enough to make you ADD, like John Cage eating too much candy. It is a cool trip into a lost world of pre-game boy entertainment.

    What a cool place!

We hung out in the area while killing a couple of hours on the way to the airport. What a cool place this was! They had every game you could think of and tons of old school games! My brother played the baseball game...he was so excited. Haven't seen that game in years! I'd love to come back to the area sometime, it was really cool.

Great selection of arcade games for a fair price. Drinks available at vending machines. Good view of the beach.

There are lots of activities for the young and young at heart throughout this outside mall area. It's kinda a touristy spot as you have many attractions $ including: Bungee, Speed Boat Experience, zip line, small rides, a Ferris wheel, a theater. Not to mention it's all on the ocean. There are a variety of shops selling the usual fare, but it's a nice walkable area with much to offer throughout your walk experience. I picked up a few things for gifts to bring home and really enjoyed my time with family here. FYI- The highly anticipated Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing Co. is opening tomorrow and would have really of liked to experience that as Paula Deans was super disappointing. *On a good note- Guy Fieri's Flavor Town will be a gigantic space within Myrtle Beach and opens in June.*

What a disaster..... we got nachos and a chicken fries and slider plate.... By the time they came out the pile of stale chips and a scoop of black guacamole aka the nachos the sliders were cold the chicken was cold and fries were hot.... I had to send the "nachos" back and had her take them off our bill. We asked for ranch for our chicken wings twice before we got litterally rotten ranch dressing. We sat at the bar to grab something quick to eat and drink, but the service was pretty slow. It looked like there were only two bartenders working, and with it being spring break plus half-off games on Wednesday, it was definitely busy. One random thing I actually loved--the bar chairs! They had real back support and were super comfortable, not your typical stiff bar stools. We ordered boneless wings and fries. I love their fries, but the wings weren't my favorite--I think it was just the sauce we chose. Also, one of my biggest pet peeves: charging extra for sauce. They wanted $0.59 for an extra blue cheese... like, come on That said, the deal we got made it worth it. It was $39.99 and included $35 in game play, so the food basically came out to $5. With half-off games, we were able to stretch that into about an hour of play, which was great. Everything seemed clean, and our bartender was very nice despite being clearly overwhelmed. Overall, a fun stop with good value--just expect slower service if it's busy.

The location is literally on the boardwalk right next to the beach. It's a lot of fun. They have two snack places inside for food. There is parking but you do have to pay since this place is on the boardwalk at the beach. Our visit was Sunday June 25, 2023. As you walk up to the arcade. You are welcome from the door as they have "Welcome" on the glass. You open the door from the boardwalk and you just see a huge selection of old and more modern arcade games. You have the redemption area on the right with many prizes. You have so many games that you wouldn't want to leave until all your money is gone. The cool thing about this arcade that it has the traditional coins and tickets. Not the plastic cards you swipe like the modern arcade has today. Make you feel like a kid again by walking around and a bunch of tickets and show them off. So much fun! The staff was amazing, I couldn't get my dollar bill into the machine to get coins and I took it to the redemption desk and they exchange it with coins. They had a smile and made a little joke about me breaking the machine. I thought it was funny. The ladies was awesome! We didn't have any issues with the staff. They felt like they was enjoying their job. We didn't get to try any of the snacks places inside the arcade but it did look good to eat. Definitely the ice cream! The place was clean but it did look kinda old. It was really dark inside the arcade but that is how you want to be for you can see all the lights on the games that glow and shine. I feel like maybe a power cleaning will help the atmosphere of being an old arcade better but that is my opinion. The bathrooms was ok, They do need more attention on a busy day and it was kinda busy even if it was a Sunday. We did feel safe since it's in the tourist area of the boardwalk. I didn't feel like kids was running around and asking for tokens like other arcades does. It was nice feeling just enjoying games and winning prizes. Fun atmosphere indeed. This place was a charm and I really did enjoy it. It even had my favorite game in the arcade and I played that thing for almost an hour. The game is called "Pearl" I believe. I highly recommend, it's a the best way to get tickets. We highly recommend the Boardwalk Arcade. It's just so much fun all around. You might want to go on a least busy day like during the week. It does get busy on weekends. Overall 5/5
