The care the day of surgery was amazing and the follow-up care was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Latona. My eye surgery recovery went beautifully and I see better in my 60s than I did in my twenties.

They also had a bartender serving espresso martinis during the event, which was such a fun touch. I ended up having a chilled white wine and enjoyed it while trying on frames. It wasn't planned as I was just going to browse, but I did end up purchasing glasses, and honestly, I've never spent this much on a pair before or added so many personalizations, but it truly felt worth it. That was unacceptable as I was having trouble with my contacts. After that terrible customer service, the entire experience with Joanna was so refreshing. She greets you when you walk in, talks with you one-on-one through the short paperwork for a new patient and then does all the testing and consultations herself. My vision insurance didn't cover any of the visit and I don't care. To be treated like a person in a medical office is such a novel and valuable thing to me. So happy to find an optometrist who gives me her time and attention.
