So you need to watch for it. Wow! When the owners call it a Toy Emporium, that's a real understatement! There are so many items placed in side rooms and all over the place, I have not seen this volume except in large dealers at the Tampa Comic & Toy Con! And these are not "toys" so much as Collectibles. Their stock includes classic car models, Hot Wheels, miniature figurines, super heroes, trucks, games and lots more. All the rooms and displays have themes. Imagine a whole room filled with nothing but Hot Wheels collectibles, old and new. It feels a little claustrophobic with so many displays in small rooms. They do have comics but not in the normal sense. There are more than 20 long boxes of comics, each can hold up to 150 comics. These are all for $1.00 each, or you can buy an entire box for $60, and you pick the comics. I admit I did eventually walk out with a long box of comics. These are basically to donate to several charities such as Comics For Kids, for kids in hospitals and treatment centers. Also Comics For Military for traveling military members in USO locations. My first time visiting and I was impressed with a comic store so close to Oldsmar. Also a good selection of comic supplies such as boxes, Mylar bags, backing boards, and more. Since my main concern was comics, I checked over their huge collections, very well organized. Also a fair stock of many Silver Age books. Since I am in the process of downsizing my 60+ year collection of mostly Golden Age and Silver Age, about the only things I am looking for is (1) an affordable Batman #1 (LOL) and a handful of EC comics from the 50s. But I came for a specific reason - to get a long box of comics to share with grandkids and mostly donate to the local USO. There is a whole wall of long box comics on sale for $1 individual, plus a long box of your choice for $75. One row across the top and another on the floor beneath. I spent about 90 minutes grazing through for appropriate books for service members and families, nothing PG or higher. The manager was very knowledgeable about comics and very helpful. I did bring my own long box to fill.

The organization of the store is horrible too with some comics being inaccessible due to shelf stacking. Also the owner made weird comments to his friend that made us uncomfortable enough to just leave without getting anything. Overall Id rather drive 35 minutes to a better store than this one.

Big store with tons of selections…read more I was nervous from pictures that this would be all comic books. I was a little relieved when we pulled up and there was a sign that included toys. We were here on a very specific mission, one son was looking for ghostbusters toys and the other was looking for pokemon cards. One of the employees told us that they get the most calls from people looking for pokemon cards. So I don't bury the lead, they don't have just packs of pokemon cards, but they do have a set that includes multiple packs for $60. We ended up getting that for my older son and I've been giving him a pack every couple of days. I was little nervous about our mission to find ghostbuster stuff. There were tons of star wars stuff and a lot of funko figurines. We did find ghostbuster funko figures, but that wasn't really what we were looking for. Eventually after walking around a bit, we did find three small ghostbuster items. I think they're meant to be kept on a desk, but my son has been playing with them like they're toys. I haven't seen ghostbusters so I'm not going to describe this well, but they are items to track and then trap ghosts. He was ecstatic that we found them, so mission accomplished. If you're looking for comic books then this is heaven. If you're looking for specific toys, it may be hit or miss, but for us it was a hit. This is definitely a place worth checking out.

The store has huge stock of everything you could look for in terms of collectables, neatly organized and easily browsable. Recently, they expanded the store to take over the majority of the plaza, so now there's even more space for perusing. The owner, Parry, is a nice guy and very knowledgable; he makes great conversation and has good insight to trends in collectables. They offer a yearly membership to get discounts on your purchases. We made our money back within the first purchase. We bought our card protectors and storage cases here. You can also bring in items to be graded by Beckett or PSA in a group shipment. This saves you membership fees if you have singular items you'd like to get graded, but it does take a long time for your items to get returned (because of the grading backlog, not on the part of Wonder Water). Wonder Water also has a website where you can browse collectibles to buy without leaving your house! There are so many ways Wonder Water Sports Cards & Comics makes attaining collectibles easy and fair for its customers.
