Both artists are originally from Orlando, but have now made the Emerald Coast their home. They used a hybrid of air brush and brush painting techniques. I love the whimsy of these flamingos splashing in the water which pools out onto the concrete! I wonder why the artists painted the background that looks like wallpaper rather than with trees? But then again, I think the trees would not fit to scale because the flamingoes are way larger than life! These are some gigantic birds! There were floating cafes and gift shops nearby. There were also smaller boats that passed buy with food, drinks (non alcoholic), shirts and hats. If we saw something we liked we waved at them and they would stop by and let us get a closer look. If you've never been you must do it at least once.
