Updating my review with a cautionary tale. I purchased a necklace here which I thought was Sterling Silver because it had a 925 mark on the clasp. When I tested it at home, it was not sterling. It appears someone had taken a sterling clasp and added it to a non sterling chain. Grrrrrr. Not sure if this was the consignor or the shop but I was infuriated that I paid for silver and I got cheap metal. I've since purchased a high strength magnet to keep on my keychain to identify fake metals (anything that's magnetic is not real sterling or gold). Still loving that Kate Spade bag though...so I won't stop shopping here, but buyer beware! read more

Well organized rooms with a selection of clothes purses and jewelry (that's as far as I got but there's more!) that's amazing. It is exactly the shop I would have if I owned a resale shop myself. One of my favorite places to find high-end treasure at discount prices! Lodema and her staff are so knowledgeable about what is in the store, how to help you find just the right items for yourself or others, and you can bring in your own items to sell/get store credit....and all of these perks are in addition to the very affordable prices you will find! Went in for a belt...came out with two vintage necklaces, a beautiful turquoise/silver ring, a unique embroidered belt, two etched leather belts with one beautiful silver buckle to interchange between the two...oh yeah, and three versatile, functional, one of a kind purses. I'd say we had a great shopping experience. Also, if you want to consign...the guy behind me received a $3100 check for his goods. This is the BEST consignment shop I've ever been in! Amazing selection of mid to high end clothing, shoes, boots, jewelry, sunglasses, purses, etc. Many items were new with tags and apparently some of the local shops in Frisco bring unsold merch here, meaning this store was full of outdoor brands like Prana, Mountain Hardware, Athleta, Lulu, Patagonia, Carve Designs, Title 9, Ugg, Sorel and on and on. There were even some shiny gold Manolos sitting up high on a shelf. Lots of designer denim, furs (faux and real, if you're into that) and ski clothing, and even some racks for men's clothing! I will definitely be consigning here in the future and definitely dropping some cash on my next visit as I had to seriously restrain myself. But I did score some brand new Tahari cashmere leggings for $16 and a vintage LL Bean anorak which made my day. read more

Well I wanted to like this shop, I spent time there selecting and trying on items. But in the duration that I was in the store, the gal working there closed down the shop because the card reader wasn't working. One lady was paying in cash and the employee or owner(?) seemed to be stressed out about cash transactions. I don't know why you would close your store when there was lots of foot traffic, people were being turned away. When did we stop accepting cash as payment in the US? When I asked where the nearest ATM was she said she didn't know. I returned my items to the rack and walked out. Then I saw the convenience store across the street... obviously I could have found an ATM there. When I went to the consignment store next door, that lady was offering 50% off for a necklace to a customer. Obviously she knows how to make a sale. read more

The Funky Trunk is my go to boutique when I visit Colorado. Everything in that store is done with class and fantastic customer service. The selection and condition of the name brand apparel found at the Funky Trunk is second to none. Everything on the floor looks brand new and I have actually found clothing with the original price tags on them. This has proven to me that the price I pay versus the price tag on the garment is the BEST PURCHASE EVER! Quaint little boutique with a great selection of clothing, purses, shoes, jewelry and boots. My 16 year old daughter found a silver druzy stone ring she absolutely loves.
