The best thing about coming to Vail Co is Holy Toledo. I make it a point to visit this store as much as possible; every year I find gem pieces for an amazing price. Even though I want to keep this place my secret, I just can't be that selfish. Go and find out for yourself - designer names, samples, shoes, accessories. One of the highlights of my ski vacation! I spotted this place while passing through to Leadville and I'm so thrilled I did. I found a few great winter staples -- and had I not been worried about an over weight suitcase I would've purchased more! Wow! What an experience. The lady followed me around the store like we were gonna steal something. She made snide comments to my children and treated us like criminals. Was it my brown skin or because I had my kids? Many things I liked but won't spend my money where people are racist and prejudice. Great place to buy stylish second hand stylish clothing and accessories. Fun little town

This place used to be a jewel until a few years ago when it went under new ownership. The selection now is very dated, out of style, and priced unreasonably high for what it is. A few steps above a garage sale. The men's section has now been relegated to the musty basement and consists of similarly out dated fashion. This store used to stock very nice, higher end brands, much of which came from ski clothing reps, which, in a resort town, is a very good thing. It seems that arrangement no longer happens with men's ski apparel now being very dated. Really wish this place figured it out, we rarely if ever go here anymore and used to make it a weekly outing so see what new was in store, but now we know that answer in advance, it's "nothing new'er" and rarely much priced to move. read more

Sure, MANY of them items are name brand but the prices are astronomical. Also, the sizing is not accessible to the average body. Sure, many name brand items do not tailor to size 16+ but it's a double disappointment to see the prices and the lack of sizing. New ownership! We visited this store while in Vail for Valentine's Day week. Great "finds" as always (we hadn't been in in a few years...). My husband found a really nice pair of ski gloves but wanted to think about first. He called the store the next day while skiing, and the owner was nice enough to put them aside for a couple hours in time for me to stop-in to pick them up for him. Prices are a great value for the merchandise, and the store has a wonderful selection of clothes, jewelry and other accessories. At just 5 minutes from Vail Village, it's a must-stop if spending time in Vail or, just passing through. read more

In Minturn closed to Vail, Colorado you will find this unique "diamond in the rough" women's used, vintage consignment store. If you've been to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California you've seen these shops before. You will find women's gorgeous growns to the simplest dresses in all sizes but, mostly sizes from 2-7. The shop also carries a large variety of shoes, boots, belts, hats and jewelry. The feel of the shop is not worn or old but vintage and classy. Buyer beware... deceptive/dishonest discount policy. Their policy says they discount 25% after 30-days, and 50% after 60-days. There was a jacket I liked, and at 55-days I asked the owner (Heather Schultz) if there was any chance to get that sooner (as I was leaving town). She informed me that they do give the discount within 48 hours, but that she was going to pull this jacket down because the price was too good. I totally understand that getting the discount 5 days early isn't their policy (and I was willing to wait a few more days, as I have friends in town that could have picked it up after I was gone and sent it to me). But now I learn that won't even be possible because this store won't honor their own policy. Heather went on to make excuses... end of season, the jacket being worth more, allegiance to the consignor... but that is all just excuses. If any of that was true... they should not advertise it as getting the discount in 60-days. Heather even told me what a wonderful write-up they got in Bloomberg... my guess is they didn't tell the Bloomberg reporter how they deceive their customers. She even had the gall to tell me she had allegiance to her customers... HA... I guess that would be the case if false advertising and deceptive practices are considered "allegiance" to the customer. read more

A fairly large selection of second hand clothes with designer tags. I found some of the stuff to be a bit dated, but managed to find a reasonable pair of designer jeans. Unfortunately, the Sunday register lady was completely rude-- we asked about the 25% discount at checkout (for items more than 30 days old) and she turned around and said "some people are just so fucking picky." No way to treat customers, I will take my consignment shopping to the trendier and more polite stores in Denver. read more

I'll start off by saying I found some really great items here for a VERY great deal! The selection is fantastic, it's not overwhelming to shop through and you're guaranteed to find good quality, designer items for a fantastic price point in this valley. The downside to this is that you do have to dig through many dated items to find those treasures. Not everyone's tastes are the same, so the digging aspect may not be the same for you as it was for me. Ultimately I look forward to shopping here again. read more

I have several items at Holy Toledo and told the Owner, Heather and her associate I was moving at that moment and wanted to put another name on the account (since she clearly stated they don't send checks), she said yes and I wrote down two names for her. When they tried to pick up the checks she wouldn't let them. I called the same day and spoke to a gentleman who told me he didn't know why. I could hear him speaking to her while she was yelling at him, she than was given the phone and told me "they're not on your acct" I told her they were (he had already told me both were) and she said "well I don't know what to tell you people make fucking mistakes" She than said shed mail a check and that "they do it all the time" ok- not what you told me when I dropped my things off. I than told her he would be right back in to get the check and she said "good than I never have to fucking deal with you again" and hung up on me. I had only spoken to her the one time I dropped off the clothes and this time. I called back and said "is there going to be a problem with him getting the check" and she said "what the fuck, no just send him in" I said "what is the problem why are you swearing at me" she said "you're the problem" and than promptly hung up on me again. I've NEVER been treated like this in my ENTIRE life (and I too own a store in Vail) I hope she doesn't treat everyone like this but I fear she does from the other reviews. I won't be returning in the fall when I am back in town and sadly will never recommend her store to anyone ever. Disgusted. read more

A bit pricey for a consignment store. Many of the items available were those I could buy for the same prices new. Gap sweaters for $40, Pacsun hoodies for $35, Xhilaration shoes for $23? Come on now!! I was there this past week, and winter gear was 50% off, so I picked up a few things and an awesome pair of North Face snow boots that were about $50. Other than that, nothing too great here. Just shop the sales to justify the prices. Also, I agree with Amy M's review, the blonde lady is rude! When I tried to bargain a bit, she said she would "have to check with her 3000 members of the store if it was alright to give me a discount". Not cool. worth checking out for some digs, but not that much of a bargain either. Just happened to be a convenient stop since we were staying in Minturn. read more
