Half the games are broken the other half rip you off. So I recommend spending your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

I'm really frustrated they allow cheating at the skee ball. I heard a kid on the first roll he only need 2 more I watched another kid use 4 balls instead of 2 and while they say they will kick out cheaters they were told about it watched them both do it and continued to allow them to play and win. I paid for a game of blackout but the guy never gave me the black ball so I took it from the empty machine next to me. When they couldn't find it they accused me of cheating but then actually allow people caught with 4 balls in their hand to play. Both cheaters were male so I guess the all white male staff only discriminates against women. They also were aware of one girl had her ball get stuck every single game for 6 games in a row and didn't offer her money back. More than 3 machines I sat in the lights didn't recognize and light up and I watched over the course of an hour over 5 other people have that problem. It may only be 25-75 cents per game but the fact almost 99% of the people kept saying the balls were going in the exact same hole every game for an hr the machines may be old but theirs no excuse for them to refuse to pay a refund when it's only 25 cents their giving me back when their game fails. It's not my fault they don't repair their machines. And I absolutely cannot stand watching people claim to kick out cheaters then not only watch them cheat but 100% allow them to do it when confronted. If I had known I was allowed to cheat but their I thought I was playing against legit people. I def won't ever be back they ruined a cherished child hood memory. read more

Cool place. Feels very nostalgic, probably due to the exterior of the building. Warehouse garage style doors look like the open up from the walls during warm summer months which seems great for the coast. Lots and lots of variety of arcade games...except...for classics. There was the occasional galaga or Ms.Pac-man dotted inside, but not much more of that age range. But hey, let's face it, those games probably don't bring the same money to the owners as the ticket games. Food area looked nice with pizza options. Drinks have to stay in that area. Ticket machines payout is set pretty damn high, it seems like you can win a lot of tickets with nominal skills, which is good for kids. There were lots and lots of games on the floor that were dead or dying though. It did not seem like this place employs a game tech like Ground Kontrol in portland. Or if they do, the person must have had the last three months off. All in all, I believe I counted 20 machines in there that were turned off or butchered beyond playability. Vicki was absolutely horrific to my 15 year old son. She should not be working with or around children. My son had a pic of a ticket he lost.... (that one of the kind workers replaced). instead of trying to work it out and hearing his explanation...she rolled her eyes at him, sarcastically laughed, and accused him of lying. Which is offensive as he's a good solid kid and doesn't deserve that kind of treatment. Especially from someone that is supposed to be an adult working in a children's environment. Cool arcade. Lots of games in a big open space. They have a decent selection of toys to choose from in exchange for your e-tickets. Open till 11pm during summer. Pets are not allowed. Changing table is out in the open instead of being in a restroom which is odd to me. read more

Then it was a shooting gallery with .22 caliber shorts and a few pinball machines toward the back? fast forward I took my kids here in the 80's when video games had just started to raise their ugly head?. THE arcade in Seaside has something for everyone. They have tons of video games and skee ball, basketball shots, and even bumper cars. This place gives the kids a place to run around while not on the beach. Its a pretty big place, considering its in Seaside. They have lots of old school games, as well as newer games to play and its reasonably priced. Everything is on their "Funland" game card, so all you do is go to a self serve machine and load it with however much you want and you use that card instead of coins. No more stuck quarters or lost change. read more

One of the best attractions in seaside when you have kids! Two rooms filled with a variety of games. Ticket dispensing and others. Air hockey, bumper cars, racing, shooting they have it all. Quite a few games were out of order or just turned off. The prizes were a little steep considering most games give just a few tickets. My daughter one the jackpot (1000) tickets and when we went to turn them in the counter it said 877 when I went and told the attendant he said the machine isn't out of tickets so there's nothing he can do was I sure she landing exactly on 1000, luckily I'm a picture freak and had a photo but he said it was ok this once gave me the difference and just said NEXT time there's nothing they can do, he made it seem like I was trying to scam him. My wife and I took our 4 year old on a recent trip. This was not our first time, but it will be the last until the arcade restaffed with courteous people. My daughter won a small stuffed animal at the race game and we put the toy into the stroller and didn't touch it until we went back to the redemption counter to exchange our tickets for a prize. My daughter noticed the stuffed toy was coming apart at the seams as the stitching was broken. I showed the toy to the lady at the counter and she said we could trade it no problem. She walked over to a young man who was in the middle of what seemed like getting a number from a female patron. He looked up and instantly told the lady that it was too bad and he wasn't going to repace it. She tried to talk to him but he seemed to annoyed to even look up. When she returned and told me what happened, I asked her if I could speak to the manager and she fearfully told us that it was who she just spoke to and to please not mention her name because he was already trying to get her fired. At this point, the high school drama that was ensuing was truly ridiculous for a so called family place. We alsed the kid behind the counter if we could please exchange it and he brushed past me with a simple, "it's my policy and you should have showed it to me when you first got it". I told him that we showed it as soon as we noticed it,but the idea that he was even being so rude over a cheap toy was disturbing. We went back and forth until I asked for the name of his manager. At that point he said, it's my place and then threatened to call the police! This was laughable that his only go to was to threaten to call the police when someone asked for his supervisor. I have since emailed the website to give feedback and called and spoke to someone who advised me that he would have the owner call me. Unfortunately, I have had no response. My guess is that based in his behavior, the fear from staff, and the lack of response by any professional representative of Funland, the kid behind the counter is an untouchable relative. The toy was not a big deal but the fact that several staff expressed to my wife that this supposed manger is rude or vindictive, is an indicator of the disfunction of this staff. The only good thing is that my daughter had a good time and out of her 4 year old mouth came the words, "don't worry mommy, he is probably having a bad life." read more

About 25% of their games are broke down right now. The ones that work are .50 to $2.00 to play. That's way too much in my opinion!

We've been going to Seaside for over 40 years and have always enjoyed the arcade and fascination. However, now that we have grandchildren, we are a bit wiser about the cost and how it all works. Some of the games don't give you enough tickets for the score you earn. I stopped a maintenance worker, he gave us a free game but didn't fix the skeeball location that I pointed out, just smiled and moved on. Then we played another game and it didn't give us ANY tickets but they were earned properly. The little kids don't watch for this, but I was observing several families who lost out because they were more interested in the success of each game rather than if they earned the right amount of tickets. Some of the skee ball games didn't have the right # of balls. Seems like a scam to me! The pizza at Fultano's was burned, so they made another. We have little ones with us and the wait for the pizza was more than 35 minutes because of this! They should have comp'ed us for the delay! I didn't ask for that, but good service keeps a business going! Basically, though, our kids will always want to go back to Funland so we'll just have to watch the scores of the games to be sure they get their tickets. We won't eat at Fultano's. Sad to have to report this but it's not the first time we've experienced the fraudulent ticket issue at this arcade. read more

When I came here, this place was PACKED. It was slightly raining outside and was during Spring Break so I should have guessed it would be. The kids I was with had a blast. I thought a lot of the games were in poor condition and were quite old myself. They also had a pizza parlor partially attached and a bumper car area but it was smaller than the one across the street. If you have kids it is still worth checking it out and letting the kids kill some time while you walk the drag looking at souvenir shops. read more

Holy cow this place is FUN! No wonder its called FUNLAND. They had a ton of great (and some unusual) games that both adults and kids like. I would give it 5 stars but there were several broken games and the carpet could use a cleaning. read more

My kids love it. So go if you have kids but beware of high prices (50 cents for ONE game of skeeball?!?). The selection of games could be better (or at least cheaper) and the prizes are pretty limited. Seems like it was better when I was a kid or perhaps I was just easier to impress. If I didn't have a kid, I'd never come back based on this last interaction in a line of insulting experience by staff. Two adult women without children enjoyed this arcade so much we went to nights in a row. The mix of games was great. There were old school classics like skeeball, California Speedway and Mortal Kombat 2, as well as new games like Time Crisis 5. This place is overloaded with different video games, pinball machines, air hockey tables and the like and is a great place to stop with our without kids. This was a fun alternative, though a bit expensive. Several rooms with games and ski-ball where you can rack up tickets to cash in for tons of plastic made-in-China junk. Very nostalgic! They even have a restaurant area that serves food and beer. The beer choice was actually pretty decent but the pizza was terrible. I've had bad frozen pizza that tasted better. So its a great place to spend lots of money playing games and collecting trinkets and drinking cold beers, just don't eat the pizza :) read more

This was a really fun place to visit on our trip. The system is a little weird, you have to put money onto a card to play games with. I guess that it can cut down on repairs for the machines. they have beer and pizza too. it was really fun! On our trip back to seaside this year we will be back! read more

My kiddo hit the 1,000 point jackpot on the big wheel! We ducked into the arcade on Monday after the rain interrupted our frisbee game on the beach. My husband wanted a nap, so my daughter and I decided to see how fun Funland really was. The attached pizza place was packed and the food looked and smelled delicious. I spent $50 on a couple of game cards. I'm not sure if our experience was typical, but it took us over 2 hours to use up all of our game credits. We had to feed the tickets we won into the ticket counters several times, and together we wound up with over 2,000 points. We spent most of those on candy at the concession counter. We got a few toys and a small souvenir piggy bank that says "Oregon Rainy Day Money" to remember our rainy day fun in Seaside. Next time we go, I hope to play the Fascination games. They looked so fun. read more

Hot building to stand around in and play games during the summer. Kind of sucks having to go put money on a card and then swipe every time, but I see why they do it. Pay attention to some of the machines as they will swipe your money and not work or they have broad rules for winning that aren't what they seem (Ex: Wizard of Oz says if you get a card with a character on it you get 50 points, but found out later it was only one card that had the whole group of people on it that was worth that many points). Staff was fast and courteous, went to skee ball and the person I was playing with wasn't getting their tickets so we went to staff and within seconds they put more tickets in the machine and it spit out what they had won so far. Helped get everyone coming to the counter their items in a fast, but not rushed, manner. Only wish I had more money to blow. :) read more

Walked in and right back out. Nobody say hi. And honestly what made us walk out was it smells like...puke...! And pee!!!! Gross!

Normally I don't enjoy arcades because I think they are overpriced but this one was very reasonable. They have games from as low as 25 cents and many of the ones that my kids enjoy were only about 75 cents to a dollar per game. The place was huge (even had bumper cars!) and offer a variety of games for all age groups. Even my 60+ yr old parents found something (virtual rollercoasters!) to enjoy and had a really great time. Definitely will return! My 5 year old still talks about "the arcade" after the vacation has ended. read more

WAY overpriced for 20.00 you play for like 5-10 minutes some games cost $2.00 ant they are all RIGGED the claws let go of a .25$ prize EVERY TIME and you get almost no tickets I do not recommend Funland or Fultanos pizza! read more

I did not enjoy anything here. It's expensive you waste most of your time trying to win prizes and most of your money just on one machine. Love the arcade. Great games for the kids. Plenty of tickets for all. Prize counter was awesome. There was plenty of staff. most were grouped chatting together, or in their phone. We came up, ignored by the group and greeted by what seems to be the only girl that works her bum off. She was great with our kids. Talked to them clearly. And came down to their level and helped then get their prizes. She was great. Short hair. Super nice and friendly. Came back again and she remembered our family.
