I love stopping in at this store the employees are wonderful friendly this store is spotless love the hand scooped ice cream

My husband and I have been coming to this location for 7 years, sometimes twice a day, and have always been greeted with very friendly team members with smiles. Last night, we went in and unfortunately it wasn't the same. The gentleman behind the counter with the long ponytail had an altercation with my husband over setting his items down in front of the wrong register. This happened in front of other customers as well as employees. Funny's isn't such a fun place to go anymore if this guy continues to treat their local and loyal customers this way. read more

Happened to be driving through the area and did a prompt U-turn after passing Funny's on account of noticing two things: 1) Very competitive gas pricing (VP racing fuel) and 2) They sell Thrifty ice cream here. The worker who was initially cleaning the floors when we walked in stopped what he was doing and immediately came over to help get us our scoops of Thrifty ice cream. The ice cream set up was clean, prices were affordable, and scoops were generous in size. There were about ~20 flavors to choose from and there was also a sign advertising pints/quarters for sale of select flavors. The cashier who checked us out was also friendly, and we were on our way out in no time with a full tank of gas and the nostalgic taste of Thrifty ice cream. read more

I'm about to stop going to this place if emoloyees don't get a little nicer. This is a local gas station. I get its across Santa Fe and rancho however I did not tell You to work here. If your mad about the clientele then work somewhere else. I come in here maybe 1 time every other month for some ice cream and everytime I encounter a disgruntled employee. Be decent . Be kind. This location is the only close Location to refill propane. They give you a stamp card every time you fill up so by the 5th fill up you get $5 off your next fill up. Great customer service, gas station On site and a great variety liquor store to shop in. read more

Came to vacuum my car and grab snacks. The vacuum machine costed $2.50 quarters only just for it to not work. Told the clerks they looked at me like I spoke a different language. Came back in to grab a drink they asked did I try it again. I said why would I waste another $3? The woman said the owner knows but he doesn't allow them to put a sign saying out of order because it still powers on. As long as the power to the machine works they don't care about it taking peoples money. read more

The male owner is racist and a narcissist and thinks little of black people. His sons have a poor attitude as well arguing over $6 as if they are destitute On January 3rd, 2025, at around 10 AM, I had an unsettling experience at this gas station, where I have been a loyal customer for years. I reported that the car wash didn't dispense soap, but instead of assistance, I was met with disbelief and accusations. Being an African American veteran, this was deeply hurtful. I never requested a refund; I only asked for proof that the system worked. Unfortunately, the situation escalated unnecessarily. I hope this business will improve its customer service to avoid making others feel similarly unwelcome. read more

We usually go to this station for propane refills and gas. It's not the easiest station to maneuver around or very well taken care of, but it's conveniently located. We hit something in the road and went there for air hoping to be able to get home. Unfortunately, the tire was too damaged to put air in it. This was almost 1 AM, so I asked the store employee if it was OK to leave the car overnight in one of several spots away from the store. He said it would be OK and we gave him our information. First thing in the morning someone called to say if the car wasn't moved immediately they will tow it. They were super rude. Not sure what's happening to customer service or caring for the people in your neighborhood but management here isn't interested in being even the slightest bit hospitable. This was the least inexpensive diesel I found in the area. I believe it's probably the most quality fuel as well. The cashier was professional and asked if I wanted a receipt. I recommend this fuel station. read more

Funny's at Lone Mountain and Rancho - Stay Away!! Please be careful at Funny's on Lone Mountain and Rancho. Just had a horrible experience with Kale the owners son. Hitting my car window, calling me profane names and refusing fuel service all because a semi was leaving the lot while I was entering. When trying to discuss his horrible behavior he ran inside and stood behind his mom. I lived here for 10 years and loved Funny's, no more! Register employee arguing with customers when she's just one of the part-time slaves if you shop here get in and get out as soon as possible so you don't have to talk to these miserable people. I noticed some bad reviews when checking gas prices in the area . My husband and I have been going to Funnys for over 25 years and have always had a good experience. Whether we go there just for gas a car wash to get propane or go inside the grab a snack, there's always friendly customer service. Just experienced blatant racism at this has station. After waiting for one of the few gas pumps they have I go inside and the cashier who is a white male is scowling at me. I tried to ignore it but, he got extremely unprofessional when I told him I wanted to get an ice cream cone, I asked him if he was mad, he said he sure was. For what, I'm certain he wasnt even aware. Any way a woman who I'm assuming was his mom or relative came to check his attitude because this "man" was willing to fight and argue with a black woman because he is admittedly "mad". This situation reminded me of all of those racist movies I've seen right before something horrible happens... Avoid this place! Was there on 18 May at 130 pm to get some gas and a snack. I went inside and was unsure what was going on, The employees were throwing the f bomb and N word back and forth like it was a Snoop concert. That being said the cashier was doing his best to ignore them and just do his job. They must have had some encounter because they were discussing dragging the guy out of his car and busting a cap in him, another employee was making threats that he would have blasted the guys face off with the propane. I know finding employees is hard these days, but this was ridiculous. I would strongly encourage the owner/management to review the video. read more

Rudest gas station employees I've ever encountered. Filthy store. Soda machine had dried syrup that looked like it had been there for days. I've been going to Funny's for 3 years every Thursday with my client on Rancho and Lone Mountain. The manager is nasty to his customers and will tell you to "if you don't like how he is or how he talks then get out" I've never had anybody in the Customer Service field ever talk to my client or myself the way he did in front of customers. There is much road work going on outside of this gas station but it is still accessible. The help has always been very kind to me. The gas is the cheapest in the area. Came here to fill up my propane tanks for BBQ great customer service the gentleman helping me was super nice filled my tanks and even placed them in my trunk which was very much appreciated since I have an injury with my knee. Upon entering store to get gas, a clerk walked out to smoke, and no one was behind the counter. I put my $100 bill in slot machine and cashed out. I turned toward counter and tall African American guy cashier with a long gray ponytail says in a rude tone "you don't have to do that". I said ok I wasn't sure. I said I also need to get gas and can I pay with this and handed him another $100 bill? He said very rudely NO, WE ARE NOT A BANK! I almost said and you are no longer a gas station to me either but I'm not going to engage with a rude jerk. I will never step foot in that crap hole again. Drove up from Summerlin for our Thrifty ice cream fix and got some of the best customer service I've seen since moving here to Vegas. The young man helping us was so genuine, upbeat, and positive. He interacted with my children in such a way that pulled them out of their shells, and he treated every customer the same way with so much enthusiasm. Amazing. They don't care if you're wearing a mask or not. I wear two and I'm waking around and I counted 5 people no masks plus 3 who work there no masks. I've asked them to please enforce the mask rule to which they replied some bs about living in a free country. 3/2/2021 3:15pm I came in to buy 2 cases of Bud Ice, about $65 worth of beer and fill my gas tank, about $45 in gas. I've been in here before and was asked not to empty the shelf of beer but instead ask someone to get full cases from the back. The tall, black (descriptive use only) male behind the counter was busy with other customers and i noticed the back room to the cooler was open so I called back to see if anyone was in the cooler to help me. The guy at the register asked in a stern voice, "Can I help you!??!" I explained that i needed 2 cases of Bud Ice tall cans and thought maybe someone was in the cooler. He scolded me saying, "you don't go back there, you come talk to me!" At no time did I enter the back room. I reminded him that i was the customer and I could easily take my business elsewhere and he'd lose a large sale. His response was, "I don't care!!" Its "Funny" that when these businesses shut down due to lack of business to watch the owner asking, "I wonder why we have no customers." They start looking at the reviews too late to help! This review is based on these 3 factors: employee friendliness, in-stock, and cleanliness. First and foremost I have to give kudos to the Funny's associate, Kenny. He has the nicest, warmest and friendliest disposition. He was super helpful and more genuine then any employee (anywhere for that matter) that I've encountered in a very long time! Love that! Who would've thought that someone so early in the morning could set the tone for my day! Funny's also always has gas available and the snacks we're craving and everything is always clean. This is a nice little gas station. But really makes it special us the people who work there. Always friendly, often funny, they work hard to keep the place clean and functioning. If you have cash, the gas is cheaper than most places. And if you have a sweet tooth, they even have Thrifty icecream! Special kudos to the woman with the pink mustache. Absolutely no common sense....Cashier was cool as he was ringing me up while I told him what I had ordered in ice cream...The jerk with the ponytail had to butt in while I was paying for the ice cream that was at the table with my 3 year old grandson. Basically wanted me to bring the product and the kid to wait in line instead of the way I've done it dozens of times before without a problem. Manager/owner(?) comes out and backs her employee, basically accusing me of being the "one in ten theives who steal ice cream......people, this happened during and after I paid!!! The insanity of all this is they fill your propane tanks and trust you to go inside and pay the ticket..... I'm sure losing my propane and ice cream business isn't going to hurt them....but you'd think with all the horrible reviews, they'd realize they are sphincters... Diana is super kind and always has a smile on her face. Today I witnessed a total Karen go off on her and accuse her of discrimination because she couldn't give her a $5 bill instead of dollar bills amounting to $5. Also, I'm pretty sure she made the request once the transaction was already done and the register was closed. That customer was absolutely in the wrong and should be banned from the store for yelling expletives and being unnecessarily cruel to someone who is simply doing her job (and doing it well I may add). read more
