All in all, it's a convenience store, not much difference, the clerks were not what brought me back time and time, again. But the automated car wash "WAS" the best in town. Recently, they upgraded or changed the system. All I can say is DO NOT waste your money. I bought the $9.00 wash, I used to use THE WORKS, I was always happy and my vehicle was clean. Went in here for the first time ,I drive for lyft and needed gas and I was shocked on how clean this station was. The bathroom was so clean !!. The floor in the store was so clean and shiney and the young man was sweeping and mopping. The cashiers were so9 friendly ,I was surprised . Wanted a car wash, paid for it as I got gas only to find out the car wash was out of order. Wanted a refund but was told no, I received a gas discount and I had 14 days to get the car wash. I'd pay the extra .20 for the gas I got but nope. Then one of the clerks was saying to another clerk there that a sign would help and I agreed but was told I wasn't part of the conversation and to shut up. Funny's has been around for a long time now. Me and the husband used to live around the corner so we'd frequent this place for gas, on his recommendation. They always have low prices, with a catch! The prices advertised are CASH prices, so if you're using plastic, expect to pay more! Inside is not spotless but kept decently clean. They serve pizza and other hot food items at a low price, good selection on fountain drinks, etc. Your typical convenience store. Everyone who works here has always given us great service. read more

This place is a total rip off when it comes to pumping gas & it's afternoon manager is a completely rude individual who does not know how to do her job! I tried to fill up my tank yesterday & it added a car wash which I did not want. I tried to get this fixed inside the store & also told her no gas ever came out. She laughed & basically told me I was an idiot & my gas gage was broken & refused to refund my $. I went to a different pump & filled my tank & showed her that it worked THIS time. She then told me there was nothing I could do & said to call back in the am to speak to the owner, which I did. They have the best automated car wash in town! It cleans my car 10 times better than Freddy's and Terrible Herbst. Gas prices are always the best in the area and if you buy a car wash, you get 20¢ off per gallon. Can't beat that! The staff and morning manager are beyond rude and uneducated. I was going to put cash on a pump, I wear a shield because I am ADA ( American disability Act). And per the governors directive,I am able to wear a shield as long as it covers my nose and mouth you are allowed alternatives without being ADA. I was told by the manager to get out. When I tried to explain I was ADA she said " their are no medical excuses". Excuse me? ADA is federal and you can not discriminate because of it. She then goes on to state she has the right to refuse service to anyone. Which I agree and encourage all business owners to enforce. What I don't encourage is refusing service and bluntly discriminating against someone for being ADA. that's a good way to get your self sued. I tried over and over to show the directive supporting this and the cops were called on me... I would have loved to wait around but I had to get to work. I went into my neighborhood Funny's twice in a row last week & had to deal with the overnight guy who was SO nasty to me that it got to the point that I called the owner, Jody, regarding an exchange over where I had parked. Jody was snarky and rude. I can see where this employee gets his attitude from if this is the example that has been set for him as to how to treat customers. I will be getting my gas, ice, ice cream etc elsewhere from now on. They just lost a $100 a week customer!!! read more

I have showed up twice now wanting Thriftys ice cream. The first time I was told by the woman that she can't scoop it until every person in the gas station is gone...there were like 7 people so I wasn't going to wait that long. I have never had any other gas station say that before and I believed it was pure laziness but I was like ok maybe it's policy. Then I showed up again and it was a man this time. I asked for a scoop and he said he couldn't scoop it until everyone was gone. I looked around and no one was there so I asked what he meant and he pointed out someone gambling at a machine. So he put on his gloves like he was actually planning on scooping it eventually but the guy at the machine had a good amount of money I'm the machine and clearly was there to stay. I am now aware that this is an excuse they use to just never have to scoop any ice cream. Also, I will just say, if there is a small chance that it is policy, that is the dumbest policy I've ever heard of. They will never sell any ice cream!! I love the prices here but the customer service and the way they handle shift change sucks. You'll get stuck there standing for 10-15 minutes while the close both registers. Many times you'll come in and there will be 4-6 employees around and they'll look at you and won't ring you up. They treat the pizza and hot held food more importantly then their customers. They are friendly enough on most days but do not understand the concept of customer service, what so ever. Every time I go there, I end up leaving disappointed because of how I've been treated. Poor customer service; little blond w/glasses totally dishonest and misled me on gas pricing/car wash. Told me I could get .20 off gas if I bought carwash full price and my drink. I had initially gone in to get a .99 ice tea and $1 off my car wash, but now ended up paying full price car wash and only got .10 off because I used my debit card. I get free withdraws from any ATM thru my credit union so if she had told me I had to pay cash, I would have. First off I been coming there to buy cigarettes and Monster drinks. I had a online coupon on my phone cigarettes and it had a timer on it. The cashier told me that she had to hit the button to see the code and when she did that it didnt show the code. And she keep telling me that she needed the code for type it in and that she can't scan the bar code it won't let her. Than she rant to me that she been working there for 2 years and not to tell her how to do my job. I was like whoa dont go there all I ask was to try scan it and she wouldn't. So I go in for a car wash and ask if the wheel scrubs are operating this time. The girl behind the counter says yest so I pay $7.99 for the wash. I come out of the wash and not only are the wheels still dirty put they are scuffed. I report it, she takes pictures and says she will leave a message for the owner, Jody. I get the wheels fixed and bring in the bill. Jody says he needed to see the damage and the pictures don't count. Says he looked at the video and the reason my wheels are scuffed is because I was too far to the left when I pulled in.(of course you have to be all the way to the left to put your wash code in at the entrance.) I ask why there are no type of guides for your wheels and he says he doesn't think he needs to pay $5000 just for one customer and he doesn't care if he ever sees me in his place again.
