Aside from help on the floor, there is a bike service shop and a hiking trail mapping station; on top of that they offer trade-in and rental services. I think this co-op establishment has a tradition of taking vested interests for the betterment of trails and parks in the local community. So that's great news for hikers and bikers like us! They have life time membership program so make sure you sign up before your first purchase to take advantage of immediate discount for members only. The $20 cost is one time but the 10% dividends on purchases are lifetime.

The employees are actually runners themselves and are very knowledgeable. The staff at FF take the necessary time working with each individual customer, trying on multiple styles and brands of shoes to ensure the customer is leaving with best possible shoe to meet their needs. This is important since my favorite brands seem to make changes from year to year that impacts the "feel/fit" and have me looking for alternatives in other brands. The last several times we have purchased shoes at FF, Greg waited on us and did a fabulous job! It's very reassuring when someone (me) who doesn't necessarily "look" like a runner, is given the same quality of service as those who resemble the stereotypical runner. Recently added to FF is the new computerized scan of the feet prior to fitting. This was amazing and the data/images are reviewed to help assist in shoe selection. FF carries a nice variety of proven running shoes at a reasonable price. Yes, you may find similar brands online or at large sporting goods stores a little cheaper, but you will not receive the specialized treatment and fitting which is essential for runners. So, save $10+ dollars somewhere else and get "ok" shoes or pay the money and leave knowing you have purchased the most appropriate shoe for you personally. In addition to the shoes, FF carries socks, clothing, nutrition and hydration items. While FF is a nationally known brand, the Mechanicsburg store is owned and operated locally and maintains an active role in supporting the local running community. I highly recommend checking out Fleet Feet, you will be pleased with the customer service and selection of items.

Took my cherished 1947 Remington 521T target rifle to this guy Mike Morrison to drill & tap 2 holes…read morefor scope mounting. Well, the hole on front of receiver which should've been shallow blind hole just deep enough for the mount base screw, he drilled all the way thru into the chamber, rendering the rifle useless! Well, the gun being a family heirloom which I didn't want to part with and me being a skilled mechanic, I chose to repair it myself instead of taking him to court and making him pay me the $400-$500 for the gun. DO NOT take your gun to this guy...he is incompetent and should not be in business!
