We love having Fuoco as our business neighbor at The Blue Door. Our guest's often have dinner there before coming over for drinks, and they always rave about the food and service. FuocoItalian is awesome. The cheese pizza with extra cheese is yummy. The eggplant parmigiana with pasta is very good too.

Incredible service (not something you get in Midland). Food was delicious too, everyone in my group raved about their dishes. 10/10

First time to visit. Took our own wine since they are waiting on liquor license. I had the best eggplant parmigiana. It was crunchy yet covered in sauce and so delicious. Bes came by every table to check on the guest and their food. He is very nice and hope they succeed. Can't wait to try his pizza. Bes informed us on his pizza sauce and oven and what separates him from the other pizzas in town. Looking forward to going back. read more

A group of 12 of us ladies went there and everyone loved their respective dish. I had read reviews and with so many one's I was not expecting it to be very good but I was wrong. Some had ordered the Alfredo sauce, the vodka sauce, marinara sauce, marsala sauce & shrimp scampi. It was all excellent and the service was excellent as well. The only reason I wouldn't give Fuoco 5+ stars is the ambiance. Granted, we went fairly early on a Saturday evening, but I'm just not a fan of fluorescent lighting in an Italian restaurant. That said, the food was fantastic. The pasta was fresh (Alex, our waiter, told us it was made fresh every morning), the marinara was so flavorful and the bread was warm and served with room temperature butter. The Alfredo wasn't as thick or parmy as I'm accustomed to, but the fettuccine noodles were so good, I didn't miss anything. I ordered the rigatoni special and my husband ordered the Tour of Italy. The sausage and meatballs were both great. The sausage had a great amount of flavor and spice. The lasagna was so creamy, which sounds strange, but it's the best way to describe. The lasagna ribbons were cooked to perfection. The chicken parm had just the right amount of breading that was cooked to a perfect crisp. Needless to say, we'll be back! Byob until they receive their liquor license. Thanks Alex, for the great service! Oh, and he told us he'd pass along our request for cauliflour crust pizza! I can't give a rating on food because we never received our meal. Now to the service, which is horrible to say the least. And management could care less. I arrived at 12:05, I was not acknowledged for 10 min, nor were the two other groups behind me. My group finally was seated and the other two groups left for lack of acknowledgement. After sitting at the table for 10 min a waitress came to take our drink order. She brought our drinks and took our food order. That was the last time we saw her, she never came back to check on us. fast forward to 1:15pm, my 1 year old was getting restless and still our food was not ready. We flagged down the first person we saw and asked if our food was almost ready. He was looking through the computer for our order scrounging through the paper pad they take orders on, went to the back and then came to tell us that our waitress would be right with us. I got up to leave beacuse I had to get back to work and had already been at Fuoco's for 1 hour 10 min. My husband was voicing his concern to one of the employees and he walked away mid conversation. the waitress then came over and said that she hopes we understand that she forgot to put in our order, but they are busy. My husband said he didn't understand and it was unacceptable and wanted to talk to the manager and the waitress told him to leave. He again asked to speak to the owner. the original employee we asked if our food was ready and who walked away mid conversation came back over and claimed to be the owner. He stood there stone faced and didnt apologize, didnt offer to make it right and never offered to make our food. Imagine ignoring and not caring that you made a 1 year old sit and wait and not even offer to bring their plate. horrible service and poor managemetn. read more
