This place is a hidden gem. Closest thing to a home cook meal I have found in midland. Every plate I have tired is excellent. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the lobster ravioli in vodka sauce. But man the vodka sauce was perfect. Staff is great, and the atmosphere nice also. read more

Even though we were one of the only people in there, I think there should be way more people at this restaurant. Servers are very nice. Everybody was very nice in the restaurant. I like the look of the restaurant and the music that was being clean was very nice. I enjoyed my food. It was very good. We always had water. Also, even though I left my purse there, they ran outside to give it to me very kind. For two people eating pasta we only paid $34 before tip, which seems very good pricing wise to me. The bread was freshly made, and you could tell that it was not store-bought and the pasta sauce was authentic, the decor and everything was absolutely beautiful. Went in as a group of 6 with a reservation for 6pm on a Saturday, surprised we didn't need it, it was pretty open. The starter bread was so soft + warm! We also had calamari and eggplant rollatini or something like that as appetizers. We enjoyed them all! I ordered the Seafood Risotto, many others ordered veal dishes. No complaints! I thoroughly enjoyed my food. We all also shared two bottles of Pinot Noir, priced at $45 but retailed for $7.... we were not happy about that crazy mark up so I am docking a star.. I don't have enough words to say how wonderful Italian Village is but I'll try..! My boyfriend and I found this spot a few months back & it quickly became our favorite date spot. We've tried almost every appetizer and have loved every single one. For my meal I discovered the Penne Rigate con Vodka and I add chicken. It is perfect! My boyfriend bounces between the lasagna, their steak tenderloin and the chicken Alfredo all three are amazing! We've also tried their banana foster and the chocolate cake and both were delicious! Was very pleasantly surprised with the service and food. The calamari seemed fresh not frozen and the sauce seemed homemade. The cannelloni was great and the sauce was perfect. It was so good we went the next night and then I was just a little disappointed. The scampi sauce had just a touch too much lemon and a little light on garlic for my personal taste but it was good. The shrimp seemed fresh not frozen and were cooked how I like them. Not overcooked and rubbery. We will definitely eat here again. read more

As water was being served we were told they didn't have water because they couldn't get it to work. This place used to be very classy and attentive and it is not any more. My favorite Italian restaurant in Midland. I have been here three times in the past 10 months. The last time was just for dessert, to erase the memory of Luigi's disappointing lasagna. The first two times I had the tortellini; with alfredo sauce and then a vodka sauce. Go with the vodka sauce! This pasta is delicious! The portions are plentiful (with leftovers for that lunch the next day). I sampled off my partner's dishes and the marinara is fresh and homemade. We started with the Bruschetta which was the perfect option for a party of 4 differently picky eaters. Fresh chopped tomatoes on crusty french bread is a great find for an Italian restaurant in the Midland area. We have sampled both the Cannolis and the Tiramisu. Feels a little pricey for $7 each, but they by far the best desserts I have tried in town, so worth the splurge. read more
