Amy, the driver, apologized, and within ten minutes, called back saying she could get another seat that's 20 minutes away. After waiting by the curb for an hour for them to get a properly sized seat, it wouldn't secure to their vehicle and the back strap appeared to be shearing off. Absolutely unacceptable from a safety standpoint (and professionally, for that matter). We kindly let them know this wouldn't work and went our separate ways and found other transportation. Amy was also apologetic, but that's where decency ended. Amy then tried to keep payment, justifying that since she had to travel to go get the other car seat, that made it fair even though they didn't render the transportation service. The sole reason they had to go get another car seat (which again wasn't suitable) is because they provided one that was far too small than requested, more than 6kg out of range. (We called them once to confirm this was something they could accommodate, and then again to book it and confirm). While unfortunate, their lack of providing the proper seat we requested/paid for isn't our fault. This is very simple. After traveling for 30 hours, what should've been an easy to and from shuttle ended up being hours wasted sitting outside. Attempting to keep the payment is incredibly dishonest and telling about their operations and character. Disgusting behavior. (not that this really matters to me as I would've done it regardless, but paying $200 for a one-way shuttle and loading your own luggage while the driver just stands there is really something else)

The word volunteer means someone who is willing to do things for others -- and in my experience…read morewith Volunteer Taxi, it completely embodied its own name. We were stopping in Nashville for a few days on our way down to Florida. Our car broke down and a series of events happened that was like a Frank Capra movie. Everywhere where we looked people were kind and helpful. It was the most relaxing mishap I'd ever experienced! Some guys walking on the strip immediately came to our aid when our car stalled in traffic. They jerry-rigged a repair to get us on our way. Then a police officer actually drove us to a gas station to get parts. When we had to stay for repairs we found an even better hotel than the one we had just left and, after check in, we took a Volunteer Taxi to get our luggage out of the car. Later that evening I realized I had lost track of my shoulder bag that contained my writing journal. Suddenly I knew I had left it in the taxi and called Volunteer Taxi to see if the driver had turned it in. It had not shown up but they took my information down and promised to get back to me if it did. We left Nashville feeling a glow of appreciation for the kindness of humanity, but for me there was just one drawback and that was the irreplaceable loss of my journal. I had no expectation of seeing it again and I had spent many hours writing in it. We went on to Florida as planned and enjoyed a much needed family vacation. The only drawback for me was sadness over losing my journal. After we were there for a few days I received a phone call from Cherry, the office manager at Volunteer Taxi. She told me that my shoulder bag with the journal had been turned in! I was so incredibly happy to hear that! We were going to stop in Nashville again on our way back home and she insisted on delivering my bag to me at our hotel. When I met this gracious woman in the hotel lobby I gave her a big hug and a generous tip. Cherry, thank you again from the bottom of my heart for your kindness! You were wonderful! And thank you to the Volunteer Taxi driver for turning in my bag! And thank you Nashville for being one of the truly friendliest places I've ever experienced!

Me and the other fare continue to check out the door for Krippled Labs to the arrive, and as I spoke to the dispatch, I am informed that the cabbie not only came to the location, but he blue his horn and waited 10 minutes for us. I found it hard to believe, but my next door neighbor opened his door and checked out the window. My neighbor and I only open the door for those who are expected. He never expects people to come over because he doesn't allow people over. Who he doesn't pick up. Now after desperate dune buggies tell that lie. I go use our special knock to ask about the loud noise no one heard. He did not hear a horn, nor see a taxi outside. I asked my other neighbors who have school age kids and same thing. Nada. I call and request again, get the same time frame. I am Autistic and OCD(little warning). I stood with my inside lights off, but door opened and waited to see what happened. After an hour a crappie driver arrived, but he did not stop until the next house, only after he noticed that my door was ajar. I had no vehicle in his way to park. He was not about to honk. He was just going to do a drive by. They are rude, in professional and I suggest everyone either bike it, car pool, or if you are a first time Uber user the first ride is free up to 20$ and if you are a Samsung device owner and download Uber from the Galaxy App store Samsung give you great Perks that would make Uber cheaper. FYI Uber also will deliver food to you from your favorite place and grocery stores. I would rather pay 20$ for UBER, then a crap ride from Wrong Turns taxi service. And I know you had to be the same driver, and because second go around I didn't say where to yet you went straight there when we got in. And when we said Wendy's you wanted to charge 20$, for not even a half mile. Your service socks, Lebanon not that big. You take request around 6 10-15 drive depending on way you take
