Hello, Doggie Daycare

Fast forward to 2023 ....We are not surprised at all that Hello Doggie Daycare business years later…read morestill can't seem to find a permanent home for their business. Due to serious legal issues with the business operations, the owner keeps moving locations. At this time she is still in business (propped up by misguided local friends and family) yet she is STILL engaged years later from our first encounter with her business, in verified reports of drama and trauma. BUT ....There is a happy ending here...the original location in Raymond ME is now home to a business complete with excellent professional, clean, and safe doggie daycare, boarding, and grooming services called *****Furever Friendz***** which we rate as *excellent*. UPDATING this post to advise, this new business *****Furever Friendz***** at the Raymond ME location is NOT related in ANY way to Hello Doggie or owner Shannon Oliver. My dog was then taken to animal shelter, and I was given 72 hours to get her or she would be put up for adoption. I contacted Shannon from the hospital and she was more than happy to take my dog until I came home.. That was close to three weeks when I was reunited with my Maddy she looked amazing. I don't know what I would do without my beautiful Maddy Thank you so much Shannon keep up the great work. israel (Izzy) Anzaldua

I recently moved to Maine and contacted Kara's Petcare on the recommendation of my vet. I was so…read moreexcited because it seemed like they would be able to offer daycare for my dogs and some auxiliary training if needed. They also said they did transport to the daycare facility and boarding on occasion. It seemed perfect. I should mention that there are Kara's pet care facilities in Portsmouth, Berwick, and Falmouth. First I was asked to set up a meet and greet with one of their associates at my home so she could meet my pets. It took me many tries to get through many unreturned phone calls, but finally we did set up the meet and greet and that went well. Then I was asked to set up an app and an account before we could actually schedule any dog care. So I set up the app and the account. Then I was asked to drive my dogs to their facility to see if the dogs would "be happy there." So I drove my dogs 25 minutes to the facility. When I got to the facility I was told that they were supposed to stay there for a day assessment and then I should come and pick them up. This was not communicated to me earlier, and I had not budgeted an extra hour of driving back-and-forth. Then they would reschedule the assessment and they would come and pick up my dogs for the day-long assessment. All before any dog care could be scheduled. So, still not on the calendar. So to summarize: you need to go through a long process of scheduling a meet and greet, then you need to have the meet and greet, then you need to sign up for the app, then your dogs have to be assessed to see if they will be happy. I'm just thinking that anyone who's busy enough to need dog care is too busy for this multilayered, multi-step, poorly communicated process where phone calls, texts, and emails are returned only about half the time.
