We took the dog, they did x rays,blood tests and determined the problem. Called us back and gave us options but recommended the least expensive option to try first. When we arrived to pick the dog up Dr. Ostrander talked with us at length with x-rays in hand. Very professional and personable. The staff is friendly and the facility is nice. I know some folks feel like vets push for additional tests and shots, but in our case the additional test that was recommended revealed a hookworm infestation for one of our pups (despite having been on Heartgard year-round since she was a little puppy). This would have gone untreated without this test. So THANK YOU to Dr. Steffenhagen for taking such good care of our sweet Wynnie!

We heard about R&R and decided to give it a try for boarding. The company was flexible with drop-off times (due to a typical Duluth snowstorm), saving us a huge headache. At pick-up, Sarah, a trainer, was able to tell us how our two dogs did, and even what their personalities were like in the kennel. This is HUGE for us because we have tried so many kennels where the workers forget our dogs' names or have very minimal interactions with them. When we were leaving, our dog with separation anxiety (who normally runs right out of boarding facilities), rubbed up against Sarah to say "bye".
