Blackwell Hall, sand Volleyball, Furman University.

If I could give this 100 stars, I would. Not a student, but played sand volleyball ball there one time. Late July Sunday afternoon volleyball with the family, 91° The water pressure, and coolness of the water attached to Blackwell hall literally saved our souls. That was the best water pressure in the upstate. Clean, crisp water. Please never renovate Blackwell Hall, or adjust the water pressure. Do everyone a service and keep it well maintained. Thanks for the good times, Furman!

Absolutely beautiful campus! I can't speak to the universities teaching tactics, however, if you are visiting the area, it is worth walking the swamp rabbit trail to Furman University or simply parking there and exploring the grounds. Well kept grass, trees, flowers, gardens, fountains, and all the buildings. And never over-busy with other people. Plan to spend about 45 minutes exploring.

On campus for our nephews football game; what a pretty campus. They didn't handle parking and tickets all that smoothly, but as far as the people and the campus itself it was a great experience.

Furman University is one of the most prestigious private institutions in the country. With just over 2600 students and a teacher:student ratio of 11:1, the quality of education is as high as its $40K (tuition, room and board) cost of attendance. Its campus is phenomenal, a real sight for sore eyes! But whatever you do, don't take my word for it, go see it for yourself!

Gearing up for football. Ordering tickets asap. I love going to the campus and strolling by the fountain it is spectacular.

There are hardly words to describe how amazing Labors of Love is. Linda is a fantastic, caring…read moremidwife who clearly loves what she does. She helped me bring my second son into the world yesterday morning from the comfort of a birthing pool in my bedroom. She was the most encouraging presence during labor and never once made me feel stressed out or worried. I cannot thank Linda enough for the support she provided for me during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I cannot recommendation this place enough. The birth center is beautiful if you decide to use it rather than having a homebirth.

Our midwives had practiced in homes over the past 11 years, but were getting calls from women who did not want to be in the hospital to give birth, but were not desirous of home births. These were young educated women who often contacted us after they had done hours of research on their own and had finally found what they were looking for; someone who would respect their opinions, provide them with resource and then give them options on where and how to birth. Research was done, a plan was launched, permits were acquired, a building was secured and renovations began. We were able to now have the best of both worlds, a home-like environment and easy access to medical facilities should they become necessary.
