Yesterday I was very frustrated by a conversation I had with an employee at the Davenport, IA store regarding a split California King box spring that was damaged. I always want to be as fair as possible regarding services rendered so I am writing an update to day. I called the Moline , IL store and asked the same questions as I did to the sales person at the Davenport, IA store and without hesitation the sales person at the Moline store gave me a contact to resolve my concerns. Kudos to that young lady for great service. When the gentleman came to my house to repair the box springs I thanked him and asked him for his name again so I could share my appreciation with a manger when I went back into the store. The gentleman, Lee, turned out to be the owner. Wow! Thank you Lee for the fast and excellent door to door service. I know it is important to share great service along with poor service so all consumers can make informed decisions when you spend your hard earned money. read more

Seriously - if you're going furniture shopping in the Quad Cities, go to Furnish 123. My fiance and I have been perusing various furniture stores in the area and Furnish 123 has the best deals and prices in the area. The owner price checks all the time to make sure they have the lowest price in town - it's hard to beat! They carry Ashley and Benchcraft furniture brands and have 10x better pricing than Ashley Furniture off 53rd. For example, the dining set we liked at Ashley was $900 and it was $530 at F123. They have a wide variety of furniture from great starter sets, to more established and finer furniture. This would be a great place to furnish you're entire apartment or home on a budget, or update your couch or bedroom for an price you can easily say yes to. read more

Furnish123 is ridiculous! I bought 2 mattress and box springs plus added on 2 lamps. Got 1 mattress and both box springs on day of purchase but had to wait on the other mattress and both lamps. Finally got the call to pickup the mattress and lamps, which the lamps where not put together. So after having them for a week sitting in my living room in the boxes and not opened I finally opened 1 box and tried putting the lamp together, it is smaller than the picture revealed and the lamp is crooked (mage out of glass) and the lamp shade is lopsided... went to the Village Shopping Center Store to return and was told they do not take back items due to HEALTH Reasons - ok these are lamps not food or anything like that!!! Called the 4th St store and was told ALL SALES ARE FINAL... so guess I am stuck with UGLY lopsided lamps - was going to go buy living room furniture there. THAT WILL NOT BE HAPPENING taking my business elsewhere. some place that appreciates their customers and in making things right! read more

The worst customer service I have ever received. We purchased a sofa on February 13, 2016. The salesman told us it could take 4-6 weeks for delivery, but he assured us that his delivery drivers were fast and we would hear something the following week. We did not. We waited three weeks before I called the store. No one answered, so I left a message asking if someone would return my call. They didn't. My wife called a week later and again had to leave a message and asked for a return call. The employees still could not be bothered to acknowledge our concerns. Last Saturday my wife was finally able to talk to the actual salesman who assured us it would only be a week until we heard from them. This was five weeks in and he told my wife that if we didn't hear from someone by noon on the following Friday, to call him back and he would get to the bottom of it. We didn't hear anything. My wife called on Friday and was told that she had to call the warehouse on Saturday because they have the couch and the employee my wife spoke with didn't know why we hadn't been called yet. I called the warehouse on Saturday, the 6 week anniversary of when we thought we were buying a couch, and the employee I spoke to there told me that he was waiting for some customers that are geographically closer before I could get my couch (I live in Davenport) and that he would call me sometime next week. This news was not taken well by my wife. She called the store again and spoke to an assistant manager who was again not helpful. At this point we were ready to ask for a refund, but of course, the assistant manager cannot authorize that and she promised that she would have her manager call us first thing when he arrived. It's now Sunday and we haven't heard anything. So, this poor excuse for a business has driven me to write my first review on Yelp! I am generally a forgiving person, to a fault in some instances, but this experience is the worst response to a concern by a customer from any business I have dealt with. Both my wife and I agree that all we wanted was a phone call or at the very least an "I'm sorry for the delay." Every time my wife or I have spoken to an employee of this place, since we made the purchase, we have been met with contempt and lethargy. I get the feeling that I am bothering them and since they already have my money, they don't have to provide customer service. Well done Furnish123, you promised a delivery date that you clearly had no control over and not a single person has explained why this delay is taking place or even had the courtesy to apologize for their company's fault in the matter, just to get my money. It's a mistake I regret, but one I thankfully will never have to make again. I will never shop at this store again, and I'll make sure to tell anyone who is looking for furniture to look elsewhere. I would not recommend this to anyone. We had an overall good experience in the store. We were told by the salesman it would take about 3 weeks to get our furniture and an additional week for delivery due to our location. At 4 weeks, I contacted the store. I was told that they were missing two pieces. No one bothered to call and let us know what was going on. I was told It would be delivered the following Monday or Tuesday and someone would contact me. So week 5 rolled around, and I heard nothing back. I waited until that Friday to contact them, and I was told that the items still weren't in. They kept offering to go ahead and schedule a delivery and suggested I drive to Davenport to pick up the other items. Even though I already paid for delivery! I told them I didn't want to do that. I asked for the option to get my money back if things weren't in at the 6 week mark. I was told no. When further pushing if there was anything they could do to remedy the situation, they told me no and it was not their fault but Ashley furniture because they were waiting on the items from them. I expressed that I was upset as we just bought a new home, and we were waiting on several items to furnish our home. They were not willing to do anything to remedy the situation. I just got off the phone with someone today week 6 and the items still aren't in. I again asked about getting our money back. I was told "absolutely not" exact words.This was someone from their warehouse in Illinois. I explained to her the issue. She just told me it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do. she then said that the Davenport store shouldn't have been looking up what was missing and telling us when it was to be delivered. So essentially, they have no policy about trying to remedy things with their customers, and they don't want their stores updating customers about what was going on. I do not recommend this place if you want furniture in a reasonable amount of time. Its been 6 weeks, and I still don't have any furniture. read more

We purchased a Bedroom Queen Size Chest of Drawers and Dresser. They delivered it. I came home from work and realized it was ridiculously tiny with our other pieces. I called them to see if we could purchase another set and exchange it and upgrade to a larger set. No, No, No. We went back an forth on the policy. The website says 302 day returns/exchanges. They said they will not for any reason. Customer Service? Absolutely NOT! Long story short....if you want to be able to make choices and furnish your home 123....this is NOT THE PLACE TO SHOP! Will never go there and will not recommend it to friends!! Horrible experience, the Manager even argued with me that this was poor customer service. read more

I am still waiting on missing parts two months after informing store of missing parts. I have contacted them several times and it hasn't made a difference. I contacted manufacturer myself and am receiving parts directly from them. Will never be back!!! read more
