The delivery went smoothly. They called the day before to confirm my delivery time and place. I wasn't expecting a small business in Menom to be this organized, I will admit, although that is a pretty standard thing to do. When the delivery guy came to my house he was alone (his partner was too hungover to come to work--minus one star) but he was able to carry my bed all by himself up the stairs in my house no prob.. The store sells prepackaged sets for each of the arts classes that can be picked up in store. However, you are paying for convenience. It is waay more cost effective to buy the materials you need yourself from somewhere else, like Amazon, Blick (which has student discounts) etc. Students also frequently sell their lightly used kits when done with the class if they don't need it anymore, which is a cost effective and convenient way to get supplies. I like to support small businesses, but being a broke student and the awful experience I've had in the store.. I won't be returning and would advise against going here. I have been in twice, and both were awful experiences. Mike and the employee were condescending, passive aggressive and rude, making fun of me for asking if they had certain supplies because I was just a 'hobbyist'. It also took 20 minutes to get their attention, and I was the only one in the store. Both Mike and the male employee tried to mansplain to me the differences in paint between gouache and watercolor.
