My great-grandmother's basket weave chairs had seen better days to say the least. Alright, I admit 2 of them completely broke through. It's amazing no one got hurt. I was nervous about getting them repaired and considered tossing them altogether. I didn't know how much it'd cost or if it was even possible. A Google search led me to this INCREDIBLE shop. She is friendly, professional, reasonably priced for the value and truly amazing craftsmanship. Her handiwork is beyond good. I would give more stars if I could. Definitely recommend. I collect antique furniture, mostly Arts and Crafts/Mission pieces. So, right away you know they are "old" and when I get them, they are often in need of repair or seat replacement or some other TLC. Furniture-Fixator did a great job recently on two pieces. One was a beaten-up footstool with loose joints and paint spatters. The second was a McHugh nursing rocker with an unbefitting seat (fake leather) rather than the original material which was rush. I recently had Naomi repair and recane my great grandfather' rocker. It feels very solid now with no sign of the repairs she made. The caning is beautifully done. She followed up by sending an email of care instructions for caned furniture. I saw several other pieces she had worked on, all very different than mine, when I dropped of my chair. I had two dining chairs that were part of a set that I planned to use for my Thanksgiving company. However, the legs on two of the chairs were weak and I had been told were unfixable.
