Always liked Furniture Row until my experiences at the Green Bay, WI location this week. Went to look at dining & living room furniture for my new home. Went on Monday and was helped by an employee while looking at dining furniture. When I asked him about possibly lowering delivery charges or matching competition he said "We can match competition." Went back on Wednesday and it was the salesperson from before day off. Told the sales that day I wanted to purchase and was told by prior Sales that they could match competition pricing for delivery. This individual who said he was the manager, said that wasn't an option and was rude about it. Ultimately I was looking for like $22 off a $3500 purchase that an employee told me 2 days prior wouldn't be a problem. Won't be going back. read more

Really good selection and lots of cool unique pieces. Also thought delivery was very reasonable. I would definitely buy here again.

Stopped in this store today to look at mattresses around noon I'd say. Red head guy behind the desk never acknowledged that I was in the store. Used the bathroom and milled around an empty store waiting for him to at least let me know he would be right with me Never looked up from his I pad the entire time I was in the store. What a great experience. My husband and I have been searching for a while for a dining room table and couches for our living room. Each place we looked we encountered pushy salespeople and overpriced furniture. When we walked into Furniture Row Jim greeted us and helped us throughout the entire process. He gave us space to breathe when we needed to talk to each other but he was also so knowledgeable about the fabric of the couches and what was the best option for us. So back on March 19th we spent $1000 on a new table and chairs. We specifically ordered this set because of the bench. Of course it had to be ordered so on the 28th I get a call saying it came in on the truck that morning. I drive 40 miles one way to come pick it up only to get there and they can't find the bench. Then the 3 boxes they had for me all had stickers on them saying they were received on the 25th. So I take the table and chairs, had the guy mark on the delivery receipt that I didn't get the bench I ordered and they were supposed to let me know when I came in. I call today the 11th of April, people act like they have no idea what I'm talking about, tell me the bench is back-ordered (they looked when I was there on the 28th and it showed in stock in the warehouse). However I can drive another 30 miles down to the Appleton store to pick one up that they have in stock "if I really want it". They show NOTHING in their computer about ordering one for me, nothing saying I didn't get what I paid for and now I'm still waiting on a call back from the store to tell me what they decided to do about my missing bench. I am in the process of refurnishing an entire 3 bedroom house but this table and chairs with no bench that I already paid for will be the only and last piece of furniture ever in my house from Furniture Row!! ###Edit### I was contacted by someone from Furniture Row corporate as well as the store manager. They are bringing in a bench from another store and should have it for me when I leave my office this afternoon. I changed my rating to a 3 star because they are trying to rectify the situation however I still had to make the first call to find out why I had heard nothing for 2 weeks. read more

Used the customer service chat for the first time and it was an excellent experience! We ordered a bunk bed with stairs 3 years ago and lost the manual and couldn't find anything online at all. I contacted customer service, and within 48 hours, they were able to email me the manual! Thanks so much!! read more

Purchased leather furniture was told 8 weeks. I'm realistic that it may take longer but is now told it will be almost 6 months and they don't know why it was started so late and I'd have to deal with it. I'm already making payments. Sales man was short and rude. I will get this furniture then never return and make sure no one I know goes there either. read more

Great selection, good quality, fair price, HORRIBLE customer service. From the time I walked into the building I walked past 4 employees without being greeted before having to track one down to order the bed frame I wanted. Frame arrived later than what my order confirmation had predicted and issues with phone communications. Overall I am happy with my quality oak bed frame but I am disgusted with the staff to customer relationship. read more

The picture of the sofa set I ordered online was a completely different color, and the bright red 'clearance' shown was not a mark down at all. When I asked to have it shipped to the store, to try it out, I was told I would have to purchase it first, at full cost, then, if I decided not to buy it, I would get a refund. I went to try it out, then asked them to give me a better price, since it was a clearance item. I even offered to buy the sofa, loveseat set. The sales girl told me that there was no bartering with the person in charge of such things, that she would make the call (when I insisted). The entire store was on sale, with promise of 'free' delivery (this turns out to be a 'drop off'. If you read the fine print, you may pay more for delivery than stated. I went back in to tell the girl that I would not be taking the sofa and want my refund. The man in front of me was complaining to her about having bought a chair that the motor broke, two years ago, and they still haven't fixed it. He offered to fix it himself if they would send the motor to him. They wouldn't. The stars I have given, is for the great inventory, otherwise, no stars. Shop elsewhere. P.S. Terrible customer service! A week and a half ago we went into the Appleton store and order a whole new living room set from Carley. She called last week to let us know the furniture was in and we could schedule delivery. She scheduled it for Wednesday. We sold all of our current furniture on Monday and Tuesday night I called the Appleton store wandering why no one has called me yet to tell me a time frame they would be delivering my furniture the next day. Danielle I believe is the girl that answered the phone when I called and said it was scheduled for the FOLLOWING Wednesday. I asked to speak to a manager to figure this out because I don't have any furniture now cuz it was suppose to come the next day. The manager Eddie called me back and told me "people make mistakes....we are all human". I told him I cannot be without furniture for a week and he never offered any way to fix the problem. He just said he could refund the full amount back to me. I am SUPER frustrated and have bought many things from them in the past but will never buy from them again. read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a couch for a very long time and we found one at the Green Bay WI location that we loved loved loved we went back several times and our sales person recalled who we were each time we went in. Service during purchase was ahhhhhhmazing!!!! We got our couch and had it in his grandmas basement never opened for a few months while we house hunted. When we brought our couch to our new house and opened it there was a split seam :(. I immediately called the store and told them the situation the man I spoke with said it was not a problem and that he was ordering us a new cushion cover as we spoke and that it would be there in 2 weeks and he would call me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 4 weeks before calling and checking. At this time the woman I spoke with was a little rude and said she would look in the warehouse and see if it came in and would then call me back right away. I waited 2 days with no calls before calling back to which the same woman said yea I tried calling you and you didn't answer. Uhhhh you couldn't leave a voicemail and I had no missed calls but she DID have the correct phone number. I ignored the fact that she probably did not actually call me and she proceeded to then tell me she had no idea what the man was talking about that he ordered me a new cushion because the couch I bought just a couple months before was discontinued and that there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could refund me my money I paid for this couch so I could get a new one that isn't damaged because it was quite an expensive item. She told me I would have to make a claim to the protection plan that I had to buy separately!!!!!! and that IF they approved the claim for the item that came to me damaged they would let me trade the couch for a new item. Very disappointed with this service!!!!! My parents also bought a couch there and that is why I went there because they were great but unfortunately I will never buy an item here again :( read more

We were in the market for reclining leather living room furniture. We visited WGNR and Ashley, but they couldn't match the quality and price at Furniture Row. We also felt the saleswoman/manager we worked with, Kemi, was exceptional. She was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and did her very best to find us furniture to meet our needs and budget. When there was a mix up with the delivery service, she allowed us to keep the furniture we received until the other furniture arrived and upgraded us to a power option at no cost. Although there were a few small "bumps" along the way, Kemi and her team made our buying experience excellent. We also thought the financing options were great! read more
