One brand made from sustainable rubberwood with enough styles and stains to find what I wanted, assembled in BC. Smart design that is easy for one person to set up. The mattresses are made in the US. Don know his products and could answer all of my questions and had no salesman vibe. Pricing is fair for comparable beds. I ordered one, and the following week Don and his assistant delivered it and set it up, then made sure we were easy with opening/closing it. I'm happy I can now have a couple of more guests sleep comfortably, and feel confident that if any issues arise I will have actual response and support from a human, locally.

One of the boxes arrived completely destroyed and contained random parts from three different systems. We contacted customer service immediately and made multiple calls over the span of two months -- often waiting on hold for hours -- and were repeatedly assured the issue would be resolved. After all that wasted time and effort, we were told that the only option was to disassemble everything and return the items for a refund -- as if they were doing us a favor. By that point, the units were partially assembled and the boxes were long gone, which any reasonable customer would expect not to need anymore. They refused to reimburse us for the packaging or offer any alternative solution. Given the amount of time we already spent trying to resolve this issue, the company should have issued a full refund without requiring further inconvenience. Instead, they asked us to spend even more time disassembling the product and arranging shipment, which shows a complete lack of respect for their customers' time and effort. Disorganized, unprofessional, and dishonest. Stay far away from this company.

The washer we purchased makes huge banging…read moresounds and we had someone come to check it out and he basically said don't put very many clothes in it. It will do it no matter how many clothes, even one piece of clothing. We did have a refrigerator also quit on us, but thank goodness, it was still on warranty. We purchased a freezer from them and have had nothing but trouble. It broke down a year after we bought it (unfortunately, 1 year warranty). We purchased equipment to hopefully fix it, but it broke down again and we lost food. DeWaard & Bode have been no help at all. Basically, we are on our own. It seems like they should stand behind their product, or DON'T sell it! One salesman told us they do have problems with that company's products. Hmmm....would have been good to know. We purchased a fan, per the freezer company, Galanz. While we were on vacation, we were informed by our house sitters, it died again. Lost all food for the third time. I'm thinking Costco next time?
