Also, a huge bonus with DeWaard and Bode is that if I have trouble with my new washing machine I call them and get through to someone right away, rather than having to call a 1-800 number and get shuffled around to someone I'll never meet in a different state, this alone is a huge reason I'll continue doing business with DeWaard and Bode. She stated she couldn't give it to me, to call tmw. I called the next day and then a gentleman told me David (owner) had to ok the credit!!!!??? And Bellevue store said l had to send an email to the head office!!! Right after sending the email l got a call from the same woman, attitude changed completely and told me to come in and receive the credit! I know customer service and never spoke to customers or members at the Credit Union this way!! Next day, Jim C was awesome and had heard the outburst from the woman earlier. Would recommend asking for Jim C ONLY if purchasing at the Burlington store.

Our order isn't even complete and I have to give them 5-stars!…read more After our horrendous experience with the Ashley Furniture store in Silverdale (feel free to read that reward -- buyer BEWARE), hubby and I were driving up to a boat gig in Anacortes and took the "scenic" way around Oak Harbor (meaning, not on Hwy 20). We happened to be stopped at the light by NAS Whidbey and I chanced to look over and said "Hey, Furniture World!" We had recently visited the Furniture World in Bremerton but weren't able to find any living room set that slammed our doors, so I was reluctant to go in when my husband suggested it. Now, I'm SO glad we did. We met Shawn, who was super helpful and gave us the layout of the store and then let us look around. When he came to check on us, I shared with him the debacle we had with Ashley and he asked which set we had been looking at. Fortunately I had taken a picture of it at the time and was able to give him the name... ..and as it turned out, he had the set RIGHT THERE in the showroom. Virtually brand-spanking new! He didn't have the chair or the ottoman there, but was able to find out that there were chairs in the distribution center that could be delivered to the Bremerton store (closer to us) by December 5th, and the ottoman would likely be available sometime around Jan 6-11. And the sofa and loveseat...he offered to let us buy the set right there off the floor! His team meticulously plastic wrapped the furniture and had it ready for us when we came through the next day on our way home. We were able to get one piece in our SUV and the "boys" (his helpers) were able to help my husband load the other piece on the roof! Shawn clearly understands customer service, so much that we would likely consider driving to Oak Harbor again (quite a bit out of our way and a ferry ride to boot) if we are in search of furniture. I have to write this review now, even though we haven't received the chair or ottoman yet. I just KNOW that, if there any delays, Shawn will get in touch with us right away and help make good on our order!

We didn't initially intend on…read morebuying a new mattress and had no plans of actually going to mattress firm it was definitely one of those impulse decisions where you quickly decide to stop somewhere to "just look", but I was deeply curious about the "Purple" mattresses, as I received a TON of advertisements. When we arrived the floor sales woman Deb approached us and our adventure began. Deb was phenomenal, she was thorough and walked us through the make of each purple mattress, what makes them unique, why they're popular, how they wear, even feedback from other purple owners. In the end my wife and I adored Deb and the purple mattress and we left that day with a new mattress and an adjustable base (you have to get one! It's changed how we sleep). Deb is the best and I hope her bosses recognize her because if not I'll offer her a job with my team! (She also ensured that our mattress was worth it for us! They were running incredible deals on purple mattresses and adjustable bases!)
