I gave them a call, and they said I could walk in any time for a nail trim, so I took him almost immediately after I called! Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, I could not go inside, but the owner (I believe) helped me out so much from outside. It was very quick and painless, and Spencer came out looking like a new man. As I got my wallet out to pay, the owner kindly said this first one would be on him (a nail trim is normally $15). I will absolutely be back here the next time Spencer needs a nail trim or any other grooming need solely because the owner was so kind to me. They've been in business for 19 years, so they know how to take care of their customers and pets! Definitely consider this place for your pets' grooming needs.

Thankfully though,while driving thru Bridgeville I chanced upon Precious Paws. With no reviews to provide any guidance,I decided to give this place a shot. During my call to schedule an appointment, I spoke to Mike, the owner. Realizing how clueless I was about my pooch's needs,Mike asked me to drop in with my pup so that we could address what needed to be done.... I was soo grateful for that! I couldn't differentiate between a puppy cut Vs regular cut or how I would like the hair on his face cut( umm..short) to if I wanted his teeth brushed( huh? Sure!) During our visit Mike proved to me extremely knowledgable, friendly & reassuring. He guided me through what might work best for my pup without being overtly aggressive. Sometimes, it is great to have someone help navigate thru unchartered territories. My pooch even got a complimentary nail trim while there. On the day of his grooming,post session,I came in to find a perfectly trimmed little pup who was too busy playing with the other dogs in the salon to even notice I hadn't been there all this time! Mike kept a close eye on him knowing it was our first time which made the experience all the better. Overall: I'm glad I had Mike & Precious Paws to help groom my pooch... I literally couldn't find anything negative about them and now I see why! Jessica was so professional, organized and kind. I told her that we would be celebrating our toy poodles 2nd Birthday and she was able to schedule us for the day before her party. We were concerned with how she would handle grooming again. Prior to her appointment I received appointment confirmations via text and email. Jessica arrived on time, was gentle and friendly. She spent time allowing Chloe to get acquainted and made me feel really comfortable as well. Chloe was so excited to meet her. I was asked questions regarding my grooming preferences and struggled to communicate them to her. I anxiously awaited and peeked out the window occasionally. I frantically worried that I didn't explain something properly and Chloe would look a mess for her party. I was shocked when Chloe and Jessica rang the doorbell only after an hour. Chloe pranced into the house and looked PERFECT! More importantly, she didn't show a single sign of stress. Jessica set her down and she ran off to get a toy and brought it back like nothing ever happened. I absolutely could not have been any more satisfied with the entire experience. It is so convenient, I love the peace of mind knowing that she is right outside my door and it is so much easier on her. Grooming previously took 3 hours, by the time I picked her up she was stressed, anxious and absolutely desperate to potty. I also thought it was so thoughtful that they returned Chloe with a really cute flower collar instead of the dreaded bows. She even remembered it was her birthday and brought me a birthday bandana too in case I didn't have anything for her to wear to her party. When she walked by the Betta section, she felt very sad. The fish are kept in bad conditions. They have nowhere to hide or play, just a small cup of water. It's clear that the store does not care about the Betta fish. The last time I gave this store a bad review, a manager had asked me to call the store and explain. I will NOT be doing that again. Because when I called them, they sounded like they were not sober and didn't understand what I was saying. I ended the call quickly because I knew they would not help at all. Do better.

I medicated my dog 30 minutes before the appointment as he has high anxiety related to grooming appointments. I arrive at my designated appointment time. The lady at the desk asks for my dog's name & then proceeds to tell me there is no groomer on site. I explained I took the day off work & already medicated my dog. I also offered to show her the confirmation emails & text reminders. She kept shrugging her shoulders & said, "i don't know what to tell you. Someone should've called you". She then rolled her eyes at me. The level of unprofessionalism was off the charts. If she treats people like this, I can't even imagine how she treats dogs.
